Rant: My hands and feet are constantly cold. I feel silly wearing socks inside a heated house.
I wear socks all the time, especially in the winter.
Personally, I find the not wearing socks a bit silly!

My mom bought us a $200 grill from t-fal that knows how well done the meat is, so you can set it to medium rare and walk away.

We're going vegetarian for new years :|

You may still be able to use it for tofu and stuff like peppers and pumpkin?

Or resell/return it.

You could have answered ‘married’ but then I'd've had to kill you for stealing my joke.

How's the withdrawal syndrome coming along?
Good, I got both in my system later that evening.

I went to bed early and woke up feeling fantastic. It was an odd 24 hour period.

Rant: The house looks like a war zone and it's going to take a while to clean up. This is mostly the result of just the one day of not cleaning as I'm usually pretty tidy. :(

Rant: The tertiary drive in my computer (which is old and was causing issues the other day) started making bad noises and S.M.A.R.T. suddenly detected a "current pending sector count: 1." I'm copying over important files to my secondary hard drive but there's not enough room for them all.

Grilled vegetables and lasagna are the first two things I've thought off that you can do with that.

If it's an outdoors grill rather than a grill oven there's still mushrooms and other things e.g. stuffed bell peppers which you can use it for.

You're doing nicotine patches now?

In Nova Scotia, they banned flavoured vaping juice "because of the children!!" (which I'm pretty sure weren't allowed to buy it in the first place?) Because, you know, pushing people to dodgy black market alternatives will do wonders for our failing health care system.

EDIT: Oh crap, CRC errors on my bad drive now. Thankfully it copied right the second time.

Yes, if I crush one with my teeth instead of letting it dissolve slowly. I also found this is one product where the brand names are superior (by a wide margin) to the generic versions. I had been using a generic Wal Mart brand lozenge and while it tasted ok, it was absolutely huge (bigger than an American quarter and much thicker) and the dissolving process could take close to an hour and overall wasn't very pleasant. The name brand product is tiny and dissolves very easily and quickly and yet doesn't give me the overdose effect (hiccupping is a symptom of nicotine overdose - as what happens when I chew a lozenge that was meant for a slower absorption). The name brand version was only marginally bigger than a tic tac candy.

I'm against the various bans as that just creates more harm via the unregulated black market. They should do more to stop kids from getting it but I don't think restricting consumer choice helps. It's a 'cool' product and kids will use it regardless of how it tastes. We've also seen that the rise in vaping-related illnesses and deaths were almost entirely due to black market, illegal cannabis cartridges that had adulterants added to them by unscrupulous drug pushers.

These things should be made safe, regulated and available to adults but restricted from kids. We've got decades of experience with failed prohibition to know that route leads to misery.

They did just raise the smoking/vaping age to 21 here across the entire US which is a good thing.

Though that leads to the weird irony of people being allowed to join the military years before being allowed to smoke a cigarette. But raising the age of joining the military to 21 probably wouldn't go well.

It would cut the eligible pool of adults too much I would think. At least they get to vote now, that was not the case for the unlucky residents of some states that got drafted to fight in Vietnam before 3 years before getting a say in the war via elections. But yeah it's unfortunate for them, especially if they're going overseas. They should be allowed to smoke in war zones to their hearts content IMO.

Rant: I'm glad I have TeraCopy. More CRC errors than I'm comfortable with. :undecide: The other day the drive actually caused my system to completely lock up when Windows's auto-defragger hit a bad sector. (It took a bit of digging around in the event viewer and a chkdsk to figure this out.)

In the worst case, I'll pull out Roadkil's Unstoppable Copier. It's saved my hide before. :)

I'm sick right now and it sucks

I just bought my one-way flight for my new job, and how the hell does it cost as much as a return flight :gripe:?
Additional costs (more luggage, insurance for the luggage, seat change to the inside bc I'm too wide...) also doubled the damn price .

Don't paint the canvas of life.

False statement, but I'm trying to highlight, something along the lines of, how you shouldn't claim 'healing animals is good', as 'harming animals...' is good too.

You can be intrigued by your own sin, or you can, per se, like animals, like me.

If you are a species capable of building civilization, you can do it.

Yet, you are supposed to paint on the canvas, too, so that's why the original statement was false.

I guess, evil, is maleficent, and good is beneficent. However, you can be maleficent, goodly, and beneficent, in an evil way.

(I'm going to stop here because I'm not yet expert enough to complete this rant).

another time...

CFC's Syn is the most intriguing of them all.

Small rant: I ate a banana that wasn't quite ripe (although it was yellow) and now my mouth feels weird.
