Whenever the subject of vomiting comes up, I'm always quick to mention that I rarely vomit. It's not a boast, it's more a desperate plea to the universe to keep it that way. My ribs are exceptionally weak, as is my back now, and stuff like coughing and vomiting is devastating. So I've always been rather pleased that all my woes tend to resolve with intestinal distress, because even if that's completely miserable and painful, it's a lot easier to bounce back from than agitating the inflammation in my chest, especially now with a bidet (absolute lifesaver, y'all).
Not so this time, lads. I think over the course of four hours I dispelled around five liters of fluid, combined, from both exit points. Genuinely felt like my ribs were on the verge of simply yeeting themselves off into the horizon and becoming pilgrims in a brave new world. I think this may have been the worst food poisoning I've ever had in my life. It got bad enough that I hallucinated for a few hours, and then I spent almost an entire day in a fugue state. I don't know what I would have done if I didn't still have two bottles of Gatorade laying around. I sipped at them over the course of ~30 hours, not nearly enough, but it was the absolute best I could manage. Even with that, I had a horrifyingly awful headache and could barely remain upright during the hourly visits to the bathroom.
I still can't eat anything.

And while the water park in Synland has closed down, everything is cramping up something fierce. Luckily, I've managed to wrestle down the headache.
Thankfully I've improved enough to do some work so I can get paid, and then maybe I can get some bland foods ordered from the grocery store. What I have right now won't do it, and toast isn't winning my stomach over at all. I ate a bagel and a half yesterday but I think there's too much fiber. So I thawed out some bread, but it's fiber-reinforced and almost identical to the bagels.

I have some probiotic yogurt but I feel that may be risky. I also hard-boiled some eggs that are in the fridge right now, and I'll probably give one of those a try when the hunger pains overwhelm the cramping/nausea pains. Although at a certain point I imagine I won't be able to tell the difference between them.
Speaking of, any recs? I could redo my broth diet from a few months ago, but maybe something with substance would be nice or more productive. Bananas are good, right? Rice is a no, unfortunately.
