I am sure they put something in pre-shredded cheese to make it hold its form. Whatever variety it is it always seems a bit like rubber to me.
Cellulose formerly known as sawdust.
Did I see that on here today?

I had a major fail today.

I had a craving for some chocolate cupcakes. Well I guess I made too much batter, and ended up filling up my cupcake pan too full. So my chocolate cake has gone everywhere and it's spilling over lol.

At least my pan is silicone so it shouldn't be too much trouble to clean up. And I guess chocolate cake is still chocolate cake, right? I will just have to cut them and I will have very irregularly shaped cupcakes.

Pre-shredded cheese doesn't melt properly. I always freshly shred cheese for melting, and he knows this! (or at least he should)
He is a man. We know nothing and remember less!

Ah, yes. I was the victim of such a situation today. My smother and my sfather texting one another (they gave in to social pressure regarding cellphones some time ago and proved that they solve nothing), and the crapping service means that they both told one another they'd be taking care of buying bread. Result: freeze the bread to ensure it lasts long enough.

Which, well, meant Takhisis going to the bakery (and bought delicious pastries along the way, so not all a loss!) and also temporarily beating the 10% monthly inflation.

My Roomba has an error that would require crouching down to fix

Wait three weeks and it should be easier.

Yes, Mia 2.0 is about to be a fast leaner to pick stuff up.

Given that mozzarella's natural place is on pineapple-less pizza, you can just melt it anyway. Be creative!

While making these creative words is there a rule when one is supposed to use xxxless instead of xxxfree? If there's I've forgotten it but pineapplefree sounds more appropriate in this case.

Well, “ananaaton”. There isn't a hard rule but there are some connotations. You'd have a gunless man but a gun-free zone. Also a careless person isn't exactly the same as a carefree one.

Both could be soon dead in The Virginian but this demonstrates the problem nicely. I want rules. I also want them to be followed. I hate exceptions. Unless it's a worthy cause. I hate sarcasm, too. Unless it's fun & convenient.

Unless or unfree?

I think I may have upset someone on Reddit :mischief:
They said something silly. I replied. I may have mocked them.
They replied but rapidly deleted their reply.
Next they send me a message saying I need help and then I receive a message from Reddit Support because someone has referred me to them as having problems.
Some people are such snowflakes ( an appropriate non-political use of the term I believe).

Frankfurt to Marseille. There's one direct connection each day, and I would need to take it on a Sunday, since on the Saturday I'd have a birthday party, and Monday evening I need to be on a ferry to Corsica. The whole return trip by train would cost me 120€, whereas a flight + shuttle + further train will be 300€, so I'm... mad.
I can replace this single trip train ticket for ~65€ with either a flight for 160€ (+shuttle+connecting train) or a minimum 130€ trip via Paris (+connecting train), so... not happy right now .

Is there a less direct train route?

The less direct one would have been the one via Paris :/.
BUT you are right, I did some more checks, and it seems the direct train is only booked out for the German part of the trip o_O.
Now I'll take the same train from the German border, but I have 2 connecting trains before. I booked in more than 1h transfer time, since the first 2 trains will be 2h30 with 9 minutes transfer in between, which I don't believe will work.
But good, now it's 150€ instead of 120€, but still a lot better than the flight option. Might end up being nerv-wrecking though .

Clearly you don't have the nerves of steel it would take to be on The Amazing Race.

Which reminds me that the latest season was so boring that I just now realized I forgot to watch the last episode so I don't even know who won.

we are at this house for the past 36 or so years . It has a dog kennel size structure to keep the garbage can out of rain and stuff , this structure has a sheet iron door and in the second of so attempt over those 36 years it was almost being stolen , until the next door neighbour saw it and shouted at the people ... Most likely some Roman people on their horsecart and what not ...

Moderator Action: No need for such remarks, especially if you are just guessing and pointing fingers at groups of people you don't like.

Trying to replace a clothesline today. I measured off 45' from the tree to the house. Now I knew that wasn't exact, because of where I could get the measure to. But after buying 100' of rope, I figured I had just enough. Just enough so that the ends touched, and not enough left over to make knots in the ends to connect them.
