Woke up again. It's the worst. So over it.

I take it you either don't like your boss, or he wouldn't be footing the bill, or eating out is something you don't enjoy anyway? My boss is visiting the city, and at some point someone is going to remind him that I live there. Naturally, he will be excited and want to go out for dinner somewhere.
Fingers crossed he remembers when it's too late.

So, how did it go?I'll give that one a try tonight, maybe.
You're still doing editing and such for people, right? So this person is just one of your clients? Or are you in a different setup now? Sorry if I've misunderstood and misread anything.I'm not very presentable IRL these days, and don't even have the clothes necessary for group outings anymore. The only people I ever see now are doctors. Also, he is a successful lawyer, so his budget far outweighs mine ($0).

Ah, okay. Yes, it does mean careful management of your top clients. That's why I ended up keeping crazy, insane hours for my nursing student clients. Some of them had 8 am classes, so I figured it was easier to sleep during the day and do the typing at night - no distractions from the phone or people at the door.Yes, but I'm also an editor for a company that publishes boxed text for tabletop campaigns. I call him my boss mostly because he's consistently used me for over a year now and he's the owner/manager of the team, and is responsible for 40-50% of my income.

Last Fall, the single-serving cups of yogurt I buy were $0.99. Early this year, maybe January, they went up to $1.09. 3 weeks ago, they went up to $1.19. This morning, they're $1.29. 30% increase in 7-8 months?
