Mary, why don't you rotate the table yourself?

or pay 100,000 dollars to have the table swivel on a mechanised lazy susan-type mechanism

A tonsilitis can develop from your normal commensal Streptococcus in your throat, in case the balance of your throat microbiome gets thrown off too much. Which I guess is very much the case with a desinfectant (plus stresss etc).
I hope not, and I hope you wake up all good :).

Most of the pain and discomfort is gone already. Still a bit of pain when swallowing, but nothing crazy. :)

I bet the we'un makes it a bit of a performance on occasions.

Hey now, that was a secret.....

My grandfather was from Graz, Austria ... that's the same thing as German, isn't it? :D

@The_J she doesn't have an interest in you, but is too polite/scared to make it more clear. If you truly value her as a friend and aren't just keeping in touch because you hope to screw again at some point, please never be suggestive or such to her again. She has moved on and doesn't want to get back with you that way. She's being very clear in her message.

My rant: My husband doesn't seem to understand degrees, and it drives me crazy. I asked him to rotate a table clock by 5 degrees counterclockwise because it was triggering my OCD, and he instead rotated it 30 degrees, which didn't make things any better. Am I insane? He says I make no sense.
Well, at least you know what to get him for Christmas or his next birthday, whichever comes first. Since protractors come in various colors now, I'm sure you can find something he'll learn to like.

Does it count as dinner theatre?
I only worked on one dinner theatre the company put on (very brief stint on the costume crew, happily gave it up to go back to musicals), and watched another one. The usual entertainment is a play written by Neil Simon.

I hate summer. The sweltering heat, humidity that makes the heat worse, mosquitos, bees, wasps, bugs in general, sunburns. I'd take winter over summer everytime.

I hear you, and when things are bad they are bad, but I have to post this repost because it does not get played enough.
Spoiler :

I love summer. It's nice to be outside. And I love bees ... we need them and they're so cute. I keep a tube of Neutrogena spf 100 sunblock in my purse for protection.

Don't you love the smell of the air in summer? And seeing all the green everywhere? And what about cooling off with water and such?

It's wonderful <3

I love summer too but I would absolutely not if I lived somewhere with actual heat.

I can't tolerate summer anymore, so it's my least favourite season now. It was my favourite when I could, though. I have fond memories of East Coast summers, especially walking in thunderstorms.

I've experienced Vancouver in a heat wave (the reason we had to cut our time short there and head on).

I've experienced Vancouver and the Island in rain... lots and lots of rain. Fortunately I'd stocked up on reading material in Vernon, and spent 3-4 days out in the Winnegago, reading everything from Archie comics to Harlequins to Roman historical fiction while my dad happily tagged around with a couple of loggers who also enjoyed fishing.

As soon as the Sun came out, my uncle and I insisted on leaving.
