Maybe because you're the rational one?

Does this mean that the romans didn't 69?

Mebbe they had a sex thing for LXIX? Looks complicated though.

Also, playing it too safe with the thread title, Vincour. Tsk tsk.

The same thought occurred to me.

And I couldn't figure out what LXIX might refer to either.

There's got to be at least four people in there. But who knows what they're up to?

Think I'd prefer to be the L. Not sure why.

C'mon...haven't you ever seen a letter closed with 'xxx' for 'kisses'? Obviously LXIX is an L getting a kiss at the same time as an I. The Romans knew all about '69' before they ever heard of Arabic numerals.

If we vote you in as moderator, will you ensure that all serial thread titles have to be references to Turboneger songs?

Random Rants XXX: I have erection

Hmm. Rave thread is over there and so forth..

Depending on the context, that particular title could apply for almost any serial thread. :mischief:

What? Yes.

No. I mean, no.

The Xs aren't kisses. Though I can see why you think they might be.

The Xs refer to Leonardo Da Vinci's Vitruvian man.

My mother just can't stop being emotional abusive from time to time. And not even understand that she is doing it.

Sometimes I can't even remember why I've never blown my brains out.

Perseverance is the best revenge. Remember, anything judgmental she says to you is merely her opinion. It doesn't mean she's right.

As a card carrying member of the Cutlass fan-club, I echo the sentiments expressed by Valka above.

I made iced hot chocolate but it just tastes like milk.
And that's a problem because...?

Honestly, if you do the equivalent of dropping an ice cube (or several) into hot chocolate, you're going to get the equivalent of cold chocolate milk.

I wanted it to taste like cold hot chocolate, not plain milk. :(

Are you using a mix that's got everything pre-added?

The easiest way would just be to make the hot chocolate and put the cup in the fridge to cool. When you're ready to drink it, stir it up first, so all the undissolved powder isn't sitting on the bottom.

I'm remembering how my grandmother made it... Cadbury's powder, she'd add some condensed milk, and then hot water. Stir it up, and you have hot cocoa. For cold cocoa, just add regular cold milk to the powder, stir, and drink. That was my after-school treat for years.

The recipe I followed said to freeze some water, crush it, mix some warm milk with the hot chocolate powder, and then add the two together. Fairly simple and straight forward, and yet...

I wouldn't be a good barista.

Just make a cup of hot chocolate and put it in the fridge until it's cold. Take it out, stir, and drink.

The recipe makes it far more complicated than it needs to be.

Or to approach it from another angle, take the chocolate icecream out of the fridge until it melts, then just drink that.
