Random Rants VII: Why do they ALWAYS do that?!

Rant: I had a horrible day yesterday. There are about ten things that contributed to it, but the most definitive was when my mother's (who on Tuesday was telling me about how she spent the day thinking about different ways to kill herself) therapist sent her to the psych hospital in an ambulance. I still haven't heard from her! :( The rest of the day sucked accordingly.

Which brings me to the offshoot: We're reviewing the metric system. I ask my friend who is in Honors Science. They skipped it. Which is why I ask my mom WHY SHE FORCED ME TO ACCEPT 200s SCIENCE!!! (College Prep, still rigorous, but not as much as Honors) My friend's average for the year last year for Science was an 87. He gets in Honors. I get a 97. But I'm in CP. Notice anything wrong?

Didn't you say you had a learning disability?

Study Hall: Don't even friggin' get me started. One hour and a half of doing nothing. Torture. I just got a book about the Paris Peace Conference and read.

Okay, I don't see why all you kids are griping about your study halls. You have them for a reason.

They're for studying. Study. Do your damn homework.

What is complicated about that?

Oh god forbid someone studying science needs to lern the metric system, it's not like all SI quantities are based on it or anything...

Asperger's is not a learning disability.

From OASIS (Online Asperger Syndrome Information & Support): "Asperger Syndrome or (Asperger's Disorder) is a neurobiological disorder named for a Viennese physician, Hans Asperger, who in 1944 published a paper which described a pattern of behaviors in several young boys who had normal intelligence and language development, but who also exhibited autistic-like behaviors and marked deficiencies in social and communication skills."

I'm actually doing well in Geometry. How about that?

*SIGH*

APUSH sucks. Well, no. The class doesn't suck, just the workload.

You've got him so mixed up!

RANT: I played some ultimate frisbee outisde today, but now I'm all sweaty.

Ah! A rave! Maybe you should use the rave thread?

Please. Leave me alone. I forgot I couldn't rave in the rant thread and now I'm ranting in the rant thread when I'll probably be told to ask a question in the homosexuality thread.

And why not get a shower, you dirty . .. .. .. .er?

Consider that a light punishment for having played ultimate frisbee (what an oxymoron!)
ULTIMATE FRISBEE RULES, TOOL!
And why not get a shower, you dirty . .. .. .. .er?
Well obviously because I'm too busy posting, dummy! ;)
That sounds like a rave to me.

I would've killed for a set-aside time for schoolwork AT SCHOOL.
At my school we use free periods, which I find to be the best because one can choose to either goof off somewhere or do work. I often do the former, cuz that's how I roll.

Ultimate frizbee rules!

my test in AP Bio today was REALLY easy

too... easy..... :shifty:

I rant now about how its lack of difficulty makes me think I did VERY poorly on it
