I've been hiding out in the computer lab for a while waiting for the Jay Kogen IAmA, and it still hasn't been posted. NOON MEANS NOON. So now I'm afraid I'll never get to ask my questions.

I ignored my inbox for a week. This caused it to overflow to the point that it stopped forwarding to my phone. At this point, as I was no longer recieving notifications, it was out of sight out of mind.

A month passed before I opened my email. I now have to face 900 emails and countless missed opportunities.

No point, really. My mom says she knows the High Holy Days better than Christian Holy Days of Obligation because in the New York Public Schools they would almost always have a sub on High Holy Days!

It was for my theater class. Previous years we'd just gotten them off, but today there was a sub.

Because in the 7 years I've been here absolutely nothing has changed on that front. It's a consistent cycle where he complains that he doesn't have a job, people give him advice, nothing changes.

Hooray for power outages.
Also, hooray for power surges that cause all our GFI outlets AND refrigerator to be fried.

Insurance should cover it...but we're not being optimistic.

Internet works though, so I'm good.

Refrigerator too? I can't remember ever having a surge that took mine out before.

I hope you "rescued" the ice cream, though.

It got fried only three hours ago or so...we haven't even thought about rescuing anything yet. We'll probably get some ice to keep some stuff cold, and see if any neighbors can hold stuff for us.

Then we'll go buy a new fridge.
