Rave: the weather. Three weeks of no rain, the whole place's nice and dry, yesterday we got over 80º F, and today I woke up to a pleasant 70º F. Yeah!

Getting the job I had the best possible chances of getting. Everything, literally everything was in my favor and I still failed to get it.

Meh, saw a facebook status from someone I marginally knew in high school that was along the lines of "I asked my manager why she chose me for this internship and the first thing she said was she loved the clothes I wore to the interview"

I'm sure it may be a joke (kinda), but things like that greatly dishearten me for reasonably professional settings--I'm not sure what the internship is of course, but as far as I know she's doing like business or computer science type of degree. I obviously understand that looking professional is required, but it shouldn't really stick out at all in the interview process in my mind.

Oh, good. I have in interview in two days and I was planning to dress up nice anyways. Last interview I went to I dressed up casual-formal and they only took me because the guy handling the interview, I later discovered, pretty much took in anyone (it was an internship).
