You live in a city, right? Search up your local food bank. They nearly always want some type of help. Hell, when the spring season starts you can even volunteer for the communal farm. It may not be the experience you want but it's something to do, you learn how to take care of crops, you talk to people on a daily basis, potentially get contacts, etc. In places like that, it's pretty acceptable to bring up, "Hey, I'm looking for work right now. I'm good and qualified in x, y, z. If you ever hear something about an opening nearby, could you let me know? I'd be really thankful. Is there anything I can do for you, as well?"

All else fails, CivG, you get some exercise and it's a good thing to do. You'll spend at most 3-4 hours a week doing it, so it won't be a huge drain. You'll be helping those less fortunate than yourself (those with no food), potentially make friends, get your hands dirty, etc.

Please at least consider it?

Even when things are going nicely (Girl is sweet), my mind is a horrible place. If only I weren't insane. Somehow, I'm half inclined to wish for someone to cure me, but on the other hand, my mad poetry and beautiful music wouldn't be a thing without me fearing the voices on the way home. Currently everything is loud and I can't express it properly though a keyboard. I can't explain the pressure at my forehead, like some kind of demonic abomination staring into my eyes, its face towards mine, its heavy forehead leaning into mine.

I can't imagine what a good life entails, as such I'm at a complete loss as to how to attempt to plan for the next 60 years (touch wood) or take steps to aid me in the future, now.

Like how I don't want to rid myself of my depression and anxiety because perversely it has become so much of a part of who I am, I suppose.

This perception changes almost immediately when you've come out of the depression and anxiety on a permanent basis. I went through a really bad depression spell from 17-20ish and once I got happy, there was no going back despite having previously felt exactly as you do. I didn't even do anything proactively to really change my outlook, I think my brain chmistry just adjusted as I grew older.

Also my bike performs so much better with decent temperature. I thought something was fishy during the cold days but now it's absolutely confirmed. I get 2-3 gear performance in cold weather when I'm actually in 5th, for example. So that's a rant, because we're going back to 30s by the end of the week.

oi wish I wasn't so scared of people sometimes. There's one company that I should talk to tomorrow at the career/intern fair, but since it would just result in "go apply online" I don't think I'll bother.
