Napoleon, I think.
Nobody, actually. Louisiana was part of the United States by then, so the Code Civil was never implemented, Marlon Brando notwithstanding. While its legal tradition does owe something to Revolutionary French codification efforts, much of the law there is really based on late-eighteenth-century Spanish law.

I dont pay tips. Almost nobody ever does. At least down here. Well, there is a tip when you go to a restaurant but its pretty reduced stuff anyway.

That's because you don't live in America, where we can legally pay our waitresses a third of the minimum wage because the tips are expected!

Of course I don't! And proud! :smug:

Rant: people insulting cider.

The current conversation on Facebook that I'm in:
-Me
-One of my friends who is whining about his life (not that I don't do that, but he's been whining about his ex-gf for a week now...)
-Another of my friends who is being a dick in general
-The girl I was ranting about a few posts back.

Sometimes I wonder why I do this to myself...

Well, why on Earth do you have a fakebook?

As opposed to actually meeting them?
