What? I thought Australia was like most of Europe and allowed you to drink from 14?

You're only allowed to drink on private property with parental permission, and you aren't allowed to buy your own alcohol til 18.

Or something like that, no one ever really cares except the people selling the alcohol who are meant to check for ID of anyone that looks under 25 (and only because they can be fined).

I had to go jeans shopping today, and I think I tried on every pair my size in the shop, all for an end result of buying one pair. I can't fathom how guys wear skinny jeans. I'm really skinny, and I couldn't get most of them on. The ones that I just squeezed on felt like they were sterilizing me, and hurt to take back off. How do other people of a more normal weight fit in them? I don't understand!
