Odd, we're deemed suspicious and hiding something if we don't want to be photographed, but they don't seem to accept this argument when it is they who are photographed.

My uni is raising it's fees almost every week now. It was 1350 for my classes last week at now it's 1500.

That's crazy.

I can empathize though - I had my tuition double over the span of 3 years when the government decided to lift the tuition freeze. I started at around $2300 per semester, and 5 years later finished my degree paying $5000 per semester.


I hate trying to negotiate machine downtime. Too many things involved, and too many people not wanting to do the work needed to make a machine available for a much-needed fix.

That depends on local accent - a lot of people still pronounce it properly. (I admit, I don't.) At least we don't change the spelling of words we don't like.
