There's somebody online who I'd really rather not get IM'd by, yet offline messaging is a pain. Therefore, I am prevented from signing online, because I'm a hippie liberal commie when it comes to using the block feature: after all these years, I've only blocked two or three people.

While I could debate this and veer this thread further off-topic, I've already debunked this in the Ask a Furry thread, and if you refuse to listen, I can't help you.

Again. This is not the thread for this... in fact, I don't think there's any thread for this. What's certain is that this thread is for rants.

The glaring inequality in the field of law has been made apparent to me. Those who can afford a lawyer or a good lawyer clearly are much better off than those who can't, how can we call it justice when it is money that is doing the talking? The system needs to be reworked completly, the justice system needs socialism. When I become a lawyer I will be sure to take a goodly amount of pro bono cases or work for a nonprofit. I simply can't see how people have no problem with the current inequitable state of affairs.

No offense Karalysia, but...

...you're only just NOW realising that public lawyers suck rocks compared to private, for-profit ones?

Such is the price of everyone having an attorney... unfortunately, the Constitution just mentions the attorneys, and not the quality of the attorneys, to my knowledge...

That said, a fair trial implies that all attorneys have to be of roughly the same quality. Otherwise, it cannot be fair, as one lawyer is clearly superior to the other.

Since mandating a thing by way of government can be cumbersome, I hope more individuals like yourself are willing to provide more high-quality lawyer service to the masses.

Furthermore, nationalisation is easier justified in a field such as law, since the competition doesn't produce any innovation, and any lower costs by the competition can be lowered even further by the government operating it not for profit. Of course, then you have the issue of people no longer wanting to be lawyers if the pay shrinks...

I think that can be said of most people regardless of their personality... and it goes across political views... most people seem to be well-intentioned, regardless of their personal beliefs..

Gives you a bit more faith in humanity.

Oh, and don't forget. He chose a feminine name, which adds to the concept that he's more in touch with his feminine side and thus more compassionate.
