RANDOM RANTS XXI: Relapse

I've always realized it, its just more abundantly clear given recent events.

The simple solution would be to mandate that lawyers be required to take a certain number of pro bono cases or provide tax breaks in exchange for pro bono work. I'm not entirely sure but I believe some bar associations do that. Alternatively raise the salaries of public defenders to be on par with lawyers in the private sector. Or regulate the frankly excessive salaries of lawyers private in particular.

Wait. What. Some of those seem fairly sound and have merit, but... you didn't... propose nationalisation of an industry/sector for a change?

Am I in some bizarro dimension? I mentioned nationalised lawyers before you did? :crazyeye:

I'll put this down on the list of odd moments where we do 180s in politics...

I like this one.

I read the paper today and thought Camikaze must be having a very interesting time. Volcano-induced transport chaos aside, I hope you're enjoying your trip.

Enjoy your stay in Europe! :wavey: Hope you eventually get back on track:D

well I completely missed out on rome, and only got to Firenze after the ferry to cherbourg, train to Paris, train to laroche-migennes, bus to Dijon, train to nice, train to ventimiglia, train to genoa, train to la spezia, and then another train, but at least I got there.

so you admit to beastiality then, okay. the true face of this "furry fandom cult" is revealed

Please, don't stereotype on a fandom. Kthxsbi

It's still going.
It. Just. Won't. End.

They've been watching it, repeatedly pausing it randomly for a random amount of time and prolonging the pain, since 1 pm. It's now 5 pm.

Ridiculous ideas, lawyers do a very very tough job working insane hours. They work far more hours that most if not all civil servants, it is in no shape or form a 9-5 job but more of a 24/7 job. Nationalising it would be such a crippling idea, i do agree that those in the public sector should be paid at least slightly comparitive, it is quite frankly ridiculous (over here anyway) that criminal barristers for their first 10 years will earn on average only £8 an hour.

Listen, the reason that I didn't update you on what is happening is that a) you never showed up like you said you would, so I couldn't tell you in person, and b) there were no changes, thus no updates, thus nothing to actually tell you. I could have called you at home to tell you that everything is the same as it was before - and maybe I should, next time.

4 hrs of sleep, wake up to realise my underwear are wet, in the washing machine and I have school in 20 mins, I know it's my fault but it still sucks.
