Random Rants #XXIV - The Angry Mob

Tripod deleted a website for inactivity and only three pages are in the Wayback Machine. I really should've saved it.
 
Well, I had the chance to see Scott Pilgrim two weeks ago with my cousins, my aunt, and my mom. We all were psyched... until my eight-year-old cousin learned we could see Vampires Suck. He tells everyone, we all say no. He starts throwing a hissy fit, stomps, and screams "I WANNA SEE VAMPIRES SUCK!!!"

And of course, everyone gives in to his whining, crying, screaming tantrum and we're all set to see Vampires Suck. Now, I've seen the trailer, and I REALLY didn't want to see it because it looked like it was horrible.

So, we get to the movie theater, I try hard to get my own ticket to Scott Pilgrim, and my mom forces me to see Vampires Suck. To put it as lightly as I can without breaking the rules, it sucked. It was the worst movie I have ever seen in my life, and it was so bad I almost walked out ten minutes in.

And whoop-de-ma-frickin-do, I'TS OUT OF GODDAMN THEATERS IN EVERY SINGLE GODDAMN THEATER NEAR ME. And I might have able to have seen it if my cousin didn't throw a hissy fit.

And not to mention he's very high-strung, so now my mom and aunt have basically taught him that tantrums are the way to get what you want instead of taking it like a man.

There's no need to turn gay for that. There are plenty of women who love the idea of a guy letting them do them with a strap-on.
 
I was in my local branch of Tesco's and a really young person seemed to be manager, so I thought "he's far too young to be manager - he's younger than me!" It's then I realised I was now actually 31 :(
 
It's part of all those "character-building" and "self-improving" things your parents make you do in an effort to make you feel better about them :D
 
Schools and Uni's are not allowed to start this month as their is elections, says Chavez using his brilliant logic.

Which means one extra month of vacation for me as I won't need to wake up at 5AM to get to a stupid 4 hour coarse.
 
My mom is stupid. She put a bunch of my books on a cardboard box on the back deck. I had told her NOT to because the water would ruin them. She did, anyways, with my books. And she gets shocked when they're ruined.

Stupid.
 
Felt extremely nauseous during driving school class. Not kind of stomach sickness or anything, I just felt like I would throw up any minute even though I didnt eat anything. Kind of like rising from the throat or something. Really messed with my concentration. If it's going to be like this for the rest I wont learn a thing.
