A co-worker did not come to work because he was "feeling a bit sore" That was according to his girlfriend who works there also. That was quite frustrating when I heard that and even she told him to toughen up.

I hate braces! After taking an hour long drive to get to an hour long appointment (about half an hour in the lobby!), I was told that I may have to wear my braces for another 12 months! That makes the grand total of time with braces FIVE [DARNED] YEARS!!! I want retribution!

And after you get your braces off, you'll likely have to wear retainers for another year or two.

FWIW, it'll pay off, Nicky. You'll be glad you suffered through years of metal in your mouth when your teeth come out nice and straight and even. I went through the whole nine yards - full braces, palatal expander, headgear, retainers, the works. And it sucked at the time, but it was worth it for the pearly whites I have today.

Just don't be stupid and stop wearing your retainer(s) too early, or your teeth will start to shift back and become partially uneven again.

I can't guarantee that it will be that bad for everybody else. The opinion of most people I know (Except for the orthodontist and the person who signed me up) was that my braces were put on too early. About a year or two of the time was spent waiting for one single tooth to come down. It finally came down, so they are finally getting more work done. But by all means, it is no fun. Especially when you first get them. Oh, and if, by some unfortunate way, you end up with braces, always take aspirin before a checkup. (I found that out the hard way. )

Maybe, but right now I'm considering whether to make an inquiry as to whether the procedures I went through go against the Geneva Convention.

And if I have to wear retainers (I'll take your word for it), I will definitely keep them on for the prescribed time. Otherwise, I wouldn't be putting up with stringing my teeth up with rubber bands.

Oh, and I forgot: Don't you just love it when you're trying to read "King Lear" while the orthodontist's lobby is blasting "Beauty and the Beast" in your ears? (Hint: I don't. )

How many 20-year-olds are ever prescribed braces? I thought they're only prescribed during adolescence.

Theres been 21655 hits in 6 days which is raising the memory usage to dangerous levels. I cant figure that out whats going on. I dont remember pissing off Anonymous, my site isn't a target for anything, and I dont think any of my haters are sophisticated enough to pull off something like this.

I let my groupmates do most of my last project because I did most of the last one and they wanted to.

We got the second lowest grade in the class. It's a B but still, I find this unacceptable. When I did the other project we got an A.

I'm going to do the next project before they even think to check what it involves. They obviously can't handle it.
