Booklist for first semester just came out. Looks like it'll cost me about $750.

Use library, borrow off people, ignore all the unnecessary ones, find second hand eds.

I only bought maybe 25% of what's on my booklists and I regret about half of those purchases since I didn't really need them.

Offer to go splitsies with friends, find out where you can borrow books from and get the scanned or photocopied, think it out man!
Download .pdf and .doc versions of the books you can't get otherwise.

Never-mind the registration, you can't use animated images without paying for an upgrade.

Agreed. I was looking at Imageshack vs Photobucket vs other options five years ago, and it wasn't good then. It might be easy to upload to, but as a regular user I don't know how many times I've seen ImageShack "picture not there" notices or links to pictures that are a small preview of the real picture surrounded by lots of ads (though some people do link ImageShack images correctly).
