I used to use imageshack, but then they changed and became like Photobucket, refusing to give direct links to images. I don't want to view a thumbnail, click the thumbnail, get a tiny-ass picture, click zoom in and have the image opened in an entirely new window...

screw them both

Joecoolyo, y u post rong and wit htypoz?

Because I are has dignity!

Click on 'get code' and paste the pertinent part into your address bar.

I seez.

Go upload a picture, there, Takhisis. They won't even let you get past the "Register" pop up any more, making doing anything at all with pictures impossible.

What's so wrong with wanting you to register?
Is registering really such a horrible thing to do?
It isn't, I've been registered for a few years now, used to have the Toolbar before it became incompatible with Firefox's updates, use the Bulk uploader when posting modding WiPs or piles of stuff for GMing.
I never use online services that require registration.
Dammit, I could've sworn you weren't using the Guest setting… it's been deactivated ages ago. How do you even post here?

Booklist for first semester just came out. Looks like it'll cost me about $750. :ack:

Use library, borrow off people, ignore all the unnecessary ones, find second hand eds.

I only bought maybe 25% of what's on my booklists and I regret about half of those purchases since I didn't really need them.

Never-mind the registration, you can't use animated images without paying for an upgrade.

Yeah, I think I'm actually going to have to search around for some cheap options. Price was just the 'prescribed' ones, though, not 'recommended'. I don't understand why a textbook for a 3 unit subject would be $200?

Try Amazon and Ebay! A lot of college text books are sold for less than half the price you'd get from the book store on campus.

My issue was getting book list one day and needing books the next no time Amazon eBay and then they would not give booklists early as they were "preparing them" (I say that is Bull Feces). This was at community college I am not there anymore.

Twas a joke. Registration is an annoying hassle, but I usually don't mind. Since there are image-hosting services that don't require registration, I opt for them.
This. I always try to avoid registration until I've used every backup letter in the alphabet. :p
