They had a slope littered with thick steel cutouts of various game animals and would set up in their stand on the opposed slope and knock them over. I went with them once. To me it seemed like can plinking on a somewhat grander scale, but I was impressed at the skills. It seemed like pretty substantial range, especially for the guys who used target pistols instead of long guns.

Someday I want to shoot clay pigeons.

I want to shoot someday. Also collect early 20th century guns, when people were figuring out the kinks of auto and semiauto. Those are often really funky, quirky designs you don't usually see.

They're fantastic fun, I want to shoot some clay pigeons too. I have 100 shells of birdshot just laying around waiting for summer.

Nice.

I ordered some ammo and a spare magazine minutes before midnight last night (3/10) and now it's projected to arrive at my house on 3/12 with free shipping. Amazing. And perfect timing because I plan on shooting this Sunday.

I assume you couldn't order toilet paper anymore, and that's the backup plan ^^?

Well I don't think Sears catalogs are really a thing anymore

Rave: A book I've been looking a copy for years appeared on the Open Library! :D

But which book is it?

Just some random book I was forced to read in junior high school. It turned out to be terrible when I read it again.

Rave: I've upgraded from Jello!

I also recommend. Definitely one of those things where fancy is not necessary. Sporting clays is a little more involved and also worth an afternoon, probably without breaking the bank too much.

I find Oreos to be average. NZ has better and Arnott's from Australia are fantastic.

Rave: I call dibs on Zardnaar and Synsensa's allotted Oreos. Ik ben den Oreo-eter!*

I'll dump your Oreos and raise you toffee pops.

And the Aussies make these glorious things.

You bite the ends off and use them as a straw on Milo which is an NZ drink.

Try the ones in the Phils. Thet aren't even made be Nabisco. :dubious: I tried ordering them via Amazon, but the 6-week boat ride left them soggy.
I'm partial to the cookies from my grocery store's bakery. I really should try to wean myself off them... :yumyum:
