Related to my TIL -

I reached out to an old mentor at my community college to see if they were going to try and set up any partnerships with the new space company in town. My mentor has retired so doesn't know, but he told me he still uses me as his go-to example for 'if I put my mind to it, incredible things will happen'.

I'm not crying you're crying

Moving from rural Illinois to urban California probably does classify as pretty incredible to them. :smug:

....where is old Zealand anyways?

Another reason Oreos are pointless here.

You hit almost all the keys in a QWERTY keyboard with an offset of 1 to the left.

The Pizza Hut Big Dipper is amazing!
No sauce! Glorified bread sticks!

I love being able to touch-type but then it sometimes goes horribly wrong

Pizza Hutt has been very good here. Sourdough based now with garlic cheesy crust.

Some of their pizzzas are better than premium ones at double or triple the cost.

With the salt though I split a pizza over two days and imitate a rabbit those two days.

We love you too, aimee.

Saturday we tried to order from pizza hut and they shut down delivery in my area. :( We ended up getting Papa Johns and it was a complete disaster and I'm not ordering from them ever again. They messed up my order and my delivery driver refused to deliver to my door and made us go to the leasing office two blocks away - and then we had to do it again when they brought the correct food. Then we got the food and it was across the board terrible. Their new garlic crust is just regular crust with like two pieces of Parmesan sprinkled on it. Their ingredients are trash and have been for years and I knew that going into it and yet they still disappointed.

I tried to figure out how many pizza places would have to say no before I got down to calling Papa John's, but I couldn't keep up with an accurate count. Have to just go with "a lot." Maybe "like all of them."

Growing up in New England, I'm spoiled for pizza. I don't know how places like Domino's and Pizza Hut even stay open around here.

There's a pizza joint here called Boston Pizza, which afaict tell is unrelated to the North American franchise. It's great.
