Rat 41 CCM - AW a first attempt

Is there anything in Britain we need to keep? It occurs to me that we could avoid the dom limit by abandoning cities there...

Is that the larger island we hold? That can go I am sure, if we need to do it. I got close to 64%, but will dump some towns in the AM. When Poland is gone, we can even dump most of our land on that continent and make a line at the rockies.
 
Here is the turn from last night. Going to start after lunch and I wanted a clean log.

IBT:
I forogt to add Poland to the list that are bombing. They are sending 4 or 5.
Marine died attacking our infantry. Note that Germany has been bombing the tiles. They go for the ones that have workers on them. Too many to cover with troops, so I just let them have their fun. This is the first time they damaged an improvement, but workers are on the tile already, so fixing is a snap.

(6) 1875AD:
I guess we could drop lux to zero, but why bother. May as well take the boost, we cannot use more money anyway.

start Mass production it has great wonders and small wonders as well as units. It is the only choice.

I fix two towns on the mainland that were starving, but were not listed by CAII? It shows only Barecelona.

3 lawyers win, but no artist (3-0). The other two are damaged.
2 ET's kill 3 to clear the desert (6-0).
lancia kills lawyer and gets a leader (7-0).
ET kills unit in Vilcas and gets a leader (8-0). Back to back leaders.
Tanks go 4-2 and we raze town for 7 slaves (12-2). No town near to use as springboard.

Found Palermo to reach next town. Tough neighborhood as I went 5-4-4 to capture Huamanga (17-6).
Kill musket and get 2 slaves and clear Hum (18-6).
Kill a cav in the area of Hum (19-6).

Go 2-1 and capture Tiwanaku (21-7).
Go 5-3-5 and capture Corihuayrachina (26-10).
Go 4-3-3 and raze Ollantaytambo (30-13).
Kill stray 1900 (31-13).

Kill 3 Americans and a Pol to clear the lands. Last battle got a leader (35-13).
Kill hidden unit covering workers (36-13). Find Cuzco.

Go 4-2 and grab Cuzco (40-15).
Kill unit next to Machu (41-15). Looks like they have a town elsewhere. I see what could be theirs past Surrey.
Go 4-2 and raze Machu (45-17).

Kill 2 pikes I find sitting around (47-17). Looks like all clear in the south now.

Abandon all towns from Incan land. Rail the coast there. Road the holes. Boats for Nubia getting close to embarment point.

Poland next turn. I am still railing the airfields as I keep getting units stuck with movement used trying to find an airfield to use. I am also putting up roads to those units we have on the coast. Just in case we need to reach them or move them or upgrade them.

I probably will stop after tonight, but I hope to have my 10 turns done by then anyway.
 
Take your time. The earliest I'll be able to look at the save will be Thursday night (but Friday night is more likely). Then I'll be busy on Saturday, so I won't actually start playing until Sunday.

Kill 2 in Strasbourg to capture it only 1 retreat (22-0). 183 gold iirc. Not going to list gold and slave as who cares? We have about 1/4 million and about 600 workers, so a few more is nice, but not note worthy.

2 lancia capture Lubin (24-0).
Kill pike next to town and grab a worker (25-0).
Kill pike next to Stras (26-0).

Lack of artist makes things slower.

IBT:
Poland attacks and we go 6-1-3.

(8) 1877AD:
Sink German boat in our SE (1-0).
Ship 31 tanks to Nubia.

Swap literally plane for plane for 8 runs. We lost one, they lost the next and then they stopped and I bomb 4 in town, so they lost 8 bombers. That should slow down the bombing from USA (9-4). I had shipped a bunch to the front to go head to head and slow down the harassment.

Sink Incan boat (10-4).
Rebase many plane from Polish front to start working on German planes. I am not so much caring how many we lose as much as stop them from spending time bombing. If I can give up 5 to take out 7 or 8 of theirs, I am happy.

Sink German boat next to Gadir (11-4).
Bomber destroy a zep in Tours (12-4).
Kill 8 Polish units near Lubin, 2 wins by Lawyers (19-4). I see a redlined cav next to German town. I suspect they are at war as a lot of Polish units moved past our towns last turn and did not head for us. Just a guess, but I do not recall seeing a cav attack us.

Spot and kill a Mayan lawyer nearing Seville (20-4).
Kill 5 in Tours with no loses and 5 planes go up in smoke (30-4).
Kill 5 Americans and get a leader (35-5).

Kill 8 Mayan units, mostly cavs (43-5).
Kill Az cav (44-5).
Kill Polish cav next to Nagoya (45-5).
Kill USA heavy (46-5).

IBT:
Was a surprise. USA still manage 10 bombers. AV7 retreats. 10 German planes bomb. 2 Mayan bombers. Saw a landing someplace.
2 Geramn AV7 attack my stack ready for Nagoya (2-0-1).
Went 13-4 from mostly Polish attackers on that stack. No defenders in the stack, but they were on a hill and most of the attacks were across a river. Two died as they retreated and got picked off (15-4). First real work put in by the AI this set.

(9) 1878AD:
Sink Incan boat (1-0).

Three bombers, 2 US and 1 Mayan are destroyed (4-0).
Sink German boat (5-0).
Sink Mayan boat (6-0).

3 tanks take Nagoya and 1743 gold, losing 1 (9-1).
Lawyers get artist (10-1).
Lawyer gets leader (11-1).
Lawyer gets leader (12-1). Figures try for artist and get leaders, another back to back.
ET kills two units (14-1). Bomb Nag with artist.

Go 6-2 with units next to Nag (20-3).
Lawyer kills unit (21-3).
Go 2-3 and raze the next town over (german) was japanese (23-6). We now have a border to the coast on the NE now.

Kill German AV by Mosul (24-6).
Kill German partisan by Nag (25-6).
Kill AV by Izumo (26-6).
Kill 2 AV near Nag to clear the borders (28-6).

Kill 2 USA AV (30-6).
Go 5-1 on American rifles (35-7).
Go 2-1 and raze another German owned Japanese town (37-9).

Just realized I could upgrade 1900 to Infantry so I did 244 of them. Some are in the field or not in towns with a rax.

Lancia kills Hot and gets leader (38-9).
Go 3 for 3 on Glasgow and get a leader. Landing cleared (41-9).
Upgrade some marines and more 1900 units in the field.

Kill American unit and 6 left in borders. 5 cannot attack and the other is redlined.

Clear Mayan units by Victoria (50-10).
Clear Az units (55-11).

IBT:
Poland send 8 attackers and we got 3 elites going 7-1).

Start on WWII Ships I think we could also Combined OPs, but would have to come back to WWII anyway.

Bursa switch to finish National Ord Factory.
Start National Al in Wosan, no reason to not make it someplace. We have a trade route and the two islands do not have Al.

Rome is about to finish ITT, could be switched to Hoover.

Heavy Ind is now available. I am not making any as no big need for more shields and who needs -3 unhappy? It may makes sense for later builds in a few places, should the game go farther.

Sink German boat (3-0).
Sink Incan clipper (4-0).

Go 8-3 taking Torin, It has the Vatican (17-3).

Alright got mad and droped a combat settler down so I could reach the next town. It went 1-5 and then we got the wounded to end 4-5.

Captured Kalisz. I had to run up a lancia to see the town that was keeping borders up. It has hills on one side. Decide to get real mean and drop two towns so I can reach it from the NE. (21-8)

Same song, 0-3 then 3-0 to capture Lvov and Sacred Music. (24-11). Had to go over a river as well.

Kill three 1900 left behind (27-11).
Kill German by Lagash (28-11).

Three for 3 and capture Opole, boat in town (32-11).
Upgrade 5 75's to 152mm for free.
Kill 6 USA units (37-11).

Found the last 75. Upgrade something to a Zara. 6/6 to 10/?.
Shuffle the 1900 from the Anzio area to get them upgraded and put in Infantry.

Sweet deal, finaly a lawyer gets an artist. Bomb Grosseto.
Kill 2 Polish pikes on garrison duty (39-11).
Heard this one before, 3-3 captured Wroclaw and a boat in town (43-14).
Killed American by Anzio (44-14).

Sink German Steam Frigate in old carthage.

Started to stick workers in the fog in the old Incan lands.

Left 7 Mayan and Az units in the Seville area. You can let them come onto roads or go after them now.

5 USA units by Vancover the redlined one could attack, but so what.

Check the towns and units in the field in Poland and see if they are covered well enough. Should be as I do not think Poland will send much.

Fleet heading to Nubia, 2 turns I guess.

Sparta is rally point for tanks, if I got the chance to set it for towns making them. Some towns are not set and send units to Rome.
Workers railing the airfields on mainland in circle outside in. Some towns are set to send inf/lancia to an airfield.

Steamers in Sparta that can be used to set up a chain. ET's enroute to Art town. One steamer going back with supply, but to me you could just disband them and not bother.

Near the airfields you have some units that are ready for use. I have been pulling them off the airfields and parking them near so they can be found.

About 40 settlers parked next to them.

Arequipa has many units. Several towns have excess units you can use.

Builds are just haphazard and not important, change them as you wish. Rushing can be done, but I stopped doing it for the most part. I meant to rush a coule of shield boosters on the mainland, but forgot. Its 130AM.

Canada has a War galleon by Lagos.

3 ships left by London, was 5.

Can see Indian is on the isle next to old Inca.

WE are at 64%, so you will want to dump some of the Polish towns real soon. I left them to make it easier to get to the next targets.

Thanks NP. So far so good, except I have blood smodges each morning so far. Not sure, if I am messing with the stiching during my sleep or what. Not heard back if it was a cancer or not. Probably will find out when they take out the stiches.

There are units enough to send on to another town, if you use more settlers and scrounge around, I suspect. I just was too tired.

I doubt abandoning those island would do enough to matter. I think I put up an airfield on them, but no longer sure. Just in case we needed to drop off more units.

They should be fine though as I did put 5 or 6 ET's on that tiny island. I don't have time to check this morning.

vmxa, the words you used about your mornings are not standing in my dictionairy, but they don´t sound well. I cross my fingers that all will turn out to the good for you.
 
Civinator they are not uncommon after some cutting by the doctors. The head has lots of vessels. I am fine as long as the lab says it was not malignant. I have had about 60/40 on biopsies in the past.

A worse case would still not be life threatening given the location. I had one in my neck that was and the doc said it was 33% chance of being fatal. That turned out ok as it had not gotten to my lymph nodes.

I just have a long history of skin cancers. I let this one go to long as it was in a place I could not see. Same as the one on my neck I saw the blood and knew it was not good. Usually the bad ones have gotten black an dare bleeding. This was they saw was bluish, but the doc thinks it is ok.



I am with NP, go ahead and play and here is the save with the research increase to 4 turns.

I was maxed out, so I had to delete the earlier one.

Fair enough. :lol: I'm not bothered when someone who definitely has the game takes a long time, but I do get impatient when it's not clear who's up and the whole thing is in limbo.
 
Elephantium was not trying to short you, but I figured you had ask for a swap in the other game, you probably would not mind holding off on this one. :D
 
:eek: this game is so massive, just finishing 1 turns can take a whole evening.

I am still on turn 2, started with Poland (initially 17 cities left) and almost eliminated them (they have one city left that I can't raze due to the known bug)
On turn 2, I turned around and started to work on Germany, they are down from 20+ cities to 8 right now.

I am in the process of rushing transports on the shores across India so we can invade them very soon. A fleet will reach Nubia soon as well.

I doubt this game will last another 10 turns, but the amount of time it takes just for 1 turn will not make this a fast finish.
I will play a bit over the weekend and then hand over the game Sunday evening local time (means Sunday morning US time)

got to be careful as we have 65% land, raze Zielona Cora, capture Bialostok

now without recon it is a little tough to spot the best way to advance
manage to capture Mayan Tulum in the hilly terrain that is everywhere

manage to take Cincinnati, but ma stuck in the hills for any further progress this turn

IT India does attack a little but they are also fighting Aztecs which hampers their efforts
chariots and catapults are awesome powerful against our early tanks
funny to see archers beating a full health tank
maybe would have been a good idea to bring some infantry along to Nubia as our stack is almost obliterated by those ancient units
guess that will throw back the victory quite a bit
we get the International Port and the carrier docks

Turn 5 - 1884AD
raze Teayo and Ningpo, take Detroit, raze Hiroshima
now we can advance to flat American land

in quick succession, Philadelphia, Denver, Houston, Nara, Chicago, Boston, Miami
Atlanta is out of this world though as I throw lancia after lancia at it and it refuses to fall
after around 50 lancias fought there (and depleting anything we had to attack, the city falls and with it the blue riband)
am able to take New York but that is all we can do this turn

evacuate Nubia for now :(

do shortrush a ton of units yet again

IT India attacks a little but they stand no chance against infantry on hills
USA and Germany do steal some of our workers while Maya and Aztecs lose units via attacks against units on hills

Turn 6 - 1885AD
with all the border expansions, we need to be careful not to hit 66% land

take out the last German city, Shimonoseki, and they are gone
raze Washington, Baltimore, take Frisco

manage to take Lagatero, entry to Mayan land
raze Bonampak, capture Uxmal, raze Quirigua, culture bomb Uxmal
from there raze Lazapa, we're almost out of healthy units, move a stack of tanks next to Chichen Itza
manage to raze Tikal

send another convoy towards Nubia

manage to take Delhi in India, this is the beginning of their end
reinforce city and ship over some workers for an airport

In the end I am thoroughly exhausted :D
