Whoa! Thanks.

First few things I noticed to change:

A couple cities are MMed inefficiently by the governor.
Oh, yeah, we have Lit! Could we maybe Great Library it in London?
Only two archers in Neo? Oh, good, a handful of City Raider Swords should do the trick.
France is AWESOME for cottaging. We'll need to get several workers there to cottage away, and we'll need to try not to whip Amsterdam.

I'll start writing up a plan, then post it and see what everybody has to say. Meanwhile, keep commenting on what else there is to point out. (Also, let's keep our Heroic Epic city the same.)
 
There are no need for workers on the island, they are sleeping as every tile has an improvement and a road. They will actually be useful in France rather then sleeping. All workers should get shipped to france and spain.

As for wondersm which ever wonders are deamed appropriate by everyone else, I like them all, but that just me.
 
No wonders just yet. We need more workers. Amsterdam/York is practically unimproved ATM, and those grass cottages will be yummy once we get some workers there. Naval blockades in Spain is hurting us badly, perhaps we should pump out a couple trimenes(sp?).

First off, I think that the majority of our workforce (including all the workers on the islands) be put to work in France. Both Iberia and Britain are well developed, while Gaul is mainly empty space.

I agree with Cull on holding off on wonder construction. I also agree that something must be done about the Roman triremes. I notices that we had a trireme alone in the channel; what I'd like to know is, do we have any in that stack of galleys?
 
Heroic Epic is done in 5 turns, we should probably just finish that. After that, though, no more wonders, yeah.
 
Library in York. Its missing that and it needs to power up those grass cottages. Granary in Antium and Amsterdam. Thats about it right now. Forges are needed too.

On Herioc Epic, perhaps Rome would serve us better. Birmingham max hammer is quite low.
 
Plan 1

Domestic Policy

Workers

-Get the two Isles workers into France and have them cottage every tile that isn't a hill, resource, etc., starting with the tiles that are next to a river.

-Get those wines quickly, they produce (I think) +4 or 5 gold.

-Once the Iberian workers finish what they're doing, get them to France to help the Isles workers improve the land.

-Build Librarie, Forge (for hammers and happy), and Granary in every city ASAP.

-Do not whip any cities.

-Begin to spam missionaries, particularly to the Vikings and the Egyptians. This would mean creating many galleys as well, presumably from London.

Keep going with the Heroic Epic. In the cities low on hapiness (Ravus-York in particular), build the quickest mil units and fortify them in the city for extra :)s.


Research

Spoiler :
-Run 100% research until we cannot go one more turn with 100%, then run 0% for one turn, then run 100% again, etc.

-Finish Mach -> CS -> Feud -> Banks -> Gunpowder

-Make any possible tech trades that benefit us, especially with Egypt.


Foreign Affairs

(Quoting liberally from Ravus here, I hope you don't mind!)

Russia: To be kept wary of, they could declare war at any time.

Vikings: Try to convert to Christianity. Attempt to befreind them, and try to make them our very good ally.

Germany: Attempt to make them our vassal, by both IC and OOC methods.

Egypt: Convert to Christianity. Attempt to befriend them, as they should soon be our best ally.

India: Attempt to stay on their good side. However, as the founders of Hinduism, they will be a hopeless case to convert.


War Policy

Take Neopolis. I don't think we need too many more troops to take two archers, so quickly charge in with several Swords, a couple cats, and some Chariots and take Neo.

Take Cumae. Ditto as Neopolis.

Make peace with the Romans, making sure we are not giving them anything in return.

That all sounds good but personally I like the plan where we use our two armies to attack Rome and take Italy.
 
I would like to point out that even Amsterdam with Guilds-Caste grass workshops trump Birmingham in terms of hammer production.
 
Wait, has Whosit been lurking around, unable to post because of his status as "missing"?

EDIT: Must be, because he logged on yesterday. So now Whosit can post! Yay! I won't send the plan until Whosit gets to comment on it. Also, since the narrative was canceled, we will erase the whole "Whosit went missing" thing, and the Admin is back to how it was before I left for Hawaii.
