I'm a Presidential candidate eh? What happened in recent events? (I have a very vague picture of what happened due to not paying much attention due to several distractions, mainly civ - We're in the industrial age, we're still fighting Russia, we've taken mainly Russian territories, and arya founded a Peace Party, Protentatism and put me forward as a Presidential candidate ).

Alright, I'll PM you about that. I'll also need a day or two to figure out what positions I need filled, probably including regional governors, although I suppose those're not technically cabinet positions.

EDIT: Well, I probably don't need such a long time.

War Minister: Unfilled
Economic Minister: Unfilled

Plus Governor positions for:
British Island
Iberia
West Europe
Central Europe
Italy
Russian Holdings

May combine some positions as necessary. I imagine that very soon, if not already, the number of particular areas will expand beyond the number of players we have.

I'll consider you for the Russian position, but there will be no governor of Ireland because, if I win, Ireland will be independent.

Well, not sure how far back you need to go, but we've been fighting a war with Arabia/Russia. We've captured a lot of territory to the east, although Greece stands between us. (Not sure what English/Norse relations are right now--still strained?) Ireland is practically in a state of revolt. LH revealed that the "Joker" is behind some antics. Plans to blow stuff up, most likely. LH's last update gives the new events, anyway. I'm not really sure what exactly has happened besides war. I gather that casualties have been high on both sides, which is a shame, since we held the technological advantage, at least over Arabia. Seems Russia still has cutting edge tech. However, they're in poor shape, so hopefully they won't cause much more trouble in the future.

I'd call it less of a monopoly, and more of a... oligarchy. No need to do anything drastic.
