RebelNES

I have no problem sharing my base with Paz y Democracia

Well at least the PRNL are surviving. Can I get any intel on the numbers of troops around the city?

I shall give the Socialists 100 Credits to aid their advance.

To De Soto
From United Republic of Punta Gorda

Shall there be trade between us? Our farmers can sell extra produce and yours can sell theirs to us.

To United Republic of Punta Gorda
From: Republic of de Soto

If our farmers would be willing to, we wouldn't stop them from trading, though they usually can only grow enough for themselves.

OOC: Intel on the number of troops surrounding the city is: there are a few tanks, some APCs, about 500 paramilitary and 500 militia, though the city is in a very good defensive spot and it is hard for a full on assault to succeed, even against a force 1/3 of the size of the assaulting forces.

small orders:
Set ambushes for small groups of vehicles, steal money from them and their vehicles.

(will make better orders when senior seminar is over which is next week)

Orders

Orders:

Basically repeat everything from last turn, with these changes:

1. Spend 250 credits on propaganda.
2. Again, sell extra harvests.
3. Expand along the coastline.
4. Spend 300 credits on helping local communities in Bonita, by repairing buildings/roads, giving free food, etc.

Nice, keep up the orders.

As for Charles, if you want a lone assassin to kill the colonel in charge of the siege, give me a description of your plan so I will be able to gauge its effectiveness.

And finally, if any of you all have questions about your current situation, feel free to ask me over AIM. My screen name is mohplayer9.

He will sneak in as a captured Paramilitary going back. While seeing the Colonel he will take out his pistol given as a returnee and shot him.

Keep running the propoganda broadcasts to the Fascist forces, specifically the militia.

Start playing music to the Socialist forces within Punta Gorda in order to raise moral.

Plant rudimentary trigger explosives at all chokepoints. Dedicate 100 credits to the creation of said explosives.

Paz y Democracia
Leader: Padre Diego Hernando Diaz de Leon/Lord Iggy
Class: Priest
Credits: 500
Army: 450 Farmers, 260 Paramilitary
Navy: None
Air Force: none
Structures: none
Government: Democratic
Base: Valdez

Note: My leader's name is Padre Diaz, not Padre de Leon (that is his mother's maiden name).

Economy
Everything into training new paramilitaries.

Actions
Continue to aid the FARC's offensive against Archuleta in Valdez. Broadcast many messages encouraging civil uprising, particularly in Valdez, and trying to demoralize and discourage government soldiers, encouraging desertion or defection.

Note to Taylor:

You're tunnels aren't long enough to stretch past the siege. Most of your tunnels you had built before the siege were built in the forest (you didn't specify, so I figured you wanted them out of the way for escapes/HQ stuff) and I wasn't too strict before, but I'd like to know how much manpower you are focusing on these tunnels. You'll have to balance it correctly though, and you know that guys tunneling aren't necessarily able to defend at the same time.

Also, what kind of explosives?

Faction: El Camino de Fuego
Leader: Miguel Andri/Frozen In Ice
Class: Ex-General
Credits: 1000
Army: 100 Farmers, 350 Paramilitary, 10 Trucks
Navy: 1 Fishing Boat
Air Force: 1 Balloon
Structures: 1 Camp, 1 Drug Field
Government: Dictatorship
Base: New Santiago

Orders

Have the 100 farmers continue to make drugs, while the paramilitary protects them. The fishing boat will then transport and sell the drugs, and the balloon will act as a scout to make sure there are no surprise attacks.

OOC: Sorry about the rushed orders, things should be more interesting from me next turn though.

Faction: The Democratic Army of Nueva Leon (ADNL)
Leader: Antonio Vicente Caldera/UNpatriot
Class: Politician
Credits: 500
Army: 295 Farmers, 25 Mercenaries, 25 Insurgents
Navy: none
Air Force: 1 Balloon
Structures: 1 Camp
Government: (Direct) Democracy
Base: In the jungle, north-northeast of El Cerrito

Spend 50 in reparations to the families of the dead, praise their sacrifice for the cause of democracy and freedom. Make sure they won't get hungry or neglected in any other way.

Hire 20 more mercenaries (400)

With the balloon and the non-farmers, look for any Leonian military infrastructure and sabotage it. Avoid conflict whenever possible; if not, avoid casualties on both sides. The military guy will plan these operations.

The farmers will work and provide food, etc. for the insurgency.

Send propaganda to local villages, trying to convert as many as possible.

The overseas organisation will continue to provide funds and materials. Extensive lobbying. Portray the Archuleta government as a dictature which is neither capitalist nor communist, but just a plain despotism, to avoid the "our S.O.B." thinking or the opposition of western communists and their sympathisers. The idea they will try to sell to the west is "help Caldera and you won't need an S.O.B."
