Britain. If Britain misses orders again, the country will be annexed by another Allied player. If 4/7 Allied players vote in favor of early annexation, the country can be annexed this turn
The white and blue flag of the United Expeditionary Force flies over St. Petersburg as the lone defending Russian infantry unit is pushed aside by superior numbers and equipment of the attacking UEF force. In Scandinavia, the brave sailors of the Scottish Navy have secured Norway for the United Nations. In Alaska, the brave marines of the UEF have stepped toe on the holy soil of Alaska in the hopes of bringing North America once more under democratic capitalist rule.
This is where UN luck runs out.
The People’s Republic of China launched a massive assault on Tibet and Sinkiang, but Chinese forces were confused to see that the Kashmir Army was nowhere in sight. Unfortunately, Kashmir forces had fanned out in every direction, securing territory in the name of the Raj. Russia, likewise, focused most of its forces on Central Asia, Eastern Europe, and Finland. Through Central Asia, the Russians have widened the front against the industrially weaker UEF, as well as opened a second front for Kashmir. Finland, however, promises to be a problem child for the Russians who, through the lost of St. Petersburg, would have no ability to reinforce the war zone or withdraw troops if brought under attack.
Iraqis, as well, have fanned out in all directions, forming a narrow border with Songhai in the west in the Sinai, and gaining a border with their Russian allies in the north. Iraqis have also landed marines in Mozambique and Brazil, opening up a potential second front against the Songhai Empire, and causing widespread concern in the UN that the Fourth International is close to gaining the resources of all the Americas.
The United Nations, which seemed so strong once, now appears weaker. While the real industrial output the Fourth International is able to bring to bear is only slightly higher than the United Nations, in real terms, the war is starting to shape up. In Europe, the Russians will be able to march mostly unabated until they run into the expanding French supported by Scottish and maybe British forces. In Finland, it is a crapshoot as the UEF will soon be battling it out over a very long border with the Russians. The UEF is even looking at the possibility of having to defend their Alaskan possession, or else come into conflict with the powerful USSA for the Yukon.
In Africa, the Songhai Empire and SRI are sizing one another up for the eventual blows to come. With a growing number of communist countries capable of sealift, the only saving grace afforded the Songhai Empire is their lone destroyer, as well as vast amounts of expansion potential remaining. The SRI, to the west, borders Songhai, and to the east Kashmir, which find itself bordering China in the east, the SRI in the west, the Russians in the north, and soon, the Cambodians to the South.
In little noticed Oceania rests the Empire of Fiji, which continues to expand slowly and is moving to engulf much of Australia and soon the Indonesian archipelago. Few countries want this region, but fewer can deny Fiji’s potential to play kingmaker in future UN battles.
The United Nations is not out, but the days of complacency is over. The Fourth International will pull no punches at the first sign of weakness, and already, cracks are showing in the UN’s armor.
Spendable IP is the amount you can spend this turn.
Only adjacent provinces can be attacked. Transports allow you to attack any coastal province. Both of these things hold true for expansion.
Finally, support powers can be bought and banked. Support powers cannot be used the turn they’re built. Neither can units.
