The way I had my country set up was planning on either a) being neutral and next to two different sides or b) being communist in the middle of the Soviet Bloc. Sonereal shot option a down, so I went with b, thinking no one would try to start an Allied nation next to three Soviet countries.

BtW, the name of the site was Sumopaint, for anyone interested. Kind of a weird name IMO. They have a Pro version, but thats 19 euros. It adds a few tools and lets you download it. I just used the online free version.

Simple, tell me the order of your units attacking. If you expect to be attacked, send me defensive orders. Geography modifiers exist but overall, it's pretty much like RIOT (for those who remember that).

Oh, basically two units will go into a combat round which is based on an weighted RNG. Things like geography and unit bonuses affect the RNG. That's what the 5% bonuses and stuff means.

Certainly. However, given that most the Allies are in North America, far from actual fighting and far from getting transports and Destroyers able to defend against submarines, it's very much a grand strategy game.
