I did lock it for a day or two, then unlocked it and unstickied it. It sank like a stone.

That was my intent. I gave warning that i would lock it, waited a few days and then locked it. When I opened the new thread, I had second thoughts about leaving the first thread locked for all eternity. I thought that maybe in the future some poster might want to necro the thread to make a point. So i then unlocked it. Had i really wanted to make the thread disappear, i could have "deleted" it or even better, recycled it so everyone who contributed would lose the pc.

What is your point?
 
I do like that I've been able to get more spammy posts out there without as many infractions.

No, RD is only an OT thing.
 
Yes I found this out when I tried to make RD discussion in A&E and the RD was removed. It's too bad the staff can't make the RD icon hidden in other boards.
