Red Dwarf Mafia: The Smeggening [Game Thread - Concluded]

Jarrema that seems super scummy or lazy. You have nothing to offer? At all?

Im assuming the snerk kill was a townie or neutral though (scum could save that to target a specific townie. I am assuming that was kind of a one-shot deal). But whoever used it had to have checked the thread.

There is a strong chance the scum (or a plurality of the scum) could just be inactives

See, this is what I mean when I say you're talking a lot but saying nothing. There's a lot of fluff here, and then there's that last sentence, in which you're giving a suspicion without giving any kind of reasoning behind it. Why do you think that? Is it because there's lots of inactives in general and you think there's bound to be at least one or two scum hiding among them?

@Visorslash, if you need reserves I'm happy to step in

Hm. Lots of kills flying around.

Kennigit from the current targets. I kind of want to vote Sprig too, but there's not enough to go on there yet. I'll reread the thread this evening to see what else I can pick up.

Murska
, why Ken? What are your thoughts on, individually, his bandwagon today and yesterday. Is the logic used against him valid?

3 Jarrema (IF, spaceman, Land)
5 Kennigit (BSmith, Pigeon, Newyn, MartinLuther, Murska)
2 BSmith (Auto, KingMorgan)
3 Pigeon (Kennigit, Blade, Remake)
1 Cuth (AA)
1 Land (Jarrema)

To me, Ken seems fairly fishy, but I'm not convinced he's scum. BSmith is to me more suspicious. Saying "Oh look I know this because of reasons" is not good town play by any means. Like I said, the wagon on Pigeon really doesn't check out for me. Again, if Majiffy was scum, he's not a very good mafia player. I think he's actually decent, if he employs terrible techniques, and is just town. I haven't really looked at Jarrema too much, although I will say the double voting looks very much like an accident. And then there's the wagon on me, which I'm rather averse to.

An alternate wagon that hasn't started is MartinLuther. He's to be looked at if Ken flips town. I don't really see him being scum, just because outright scum accusations are not a good play from town, but all he's provided is that he's pretty sure Kennigit is mafia. If Ken's scum, that suspicion should be lessened, although it could be a ploy to make him look better.

That said, I'm going to check out Jarrema. No vote yet because although BSmith said some fairly unwise things, it sounds more like a cop sort of unwise than a scum sort of unwise. Wouldn't be surprised if he gets killed either this night or the next. Cueing the wolves off on your cool ability is not necessarily conducive to survival.

I think these are all of Jarrema's posts.

am I really first player voting here?
Vote: Snerk for posting in the thread and not voting
Day 1 vote, nothing special.
I dont even want to know what it means
Being called a smeghead.

I dont think Majiffy is scum. I do think his behavior is not nice, but that is not a reason to vote for him (not in-game one).

As I think wagons in general are good day one, I will vote for Snerk (one of the wagons starting) to create viable alternative to lynching Majiffy
Valid reasoning, and then a vote. This makes total sense if you subtract knowledge or remembrance of the first vote.

I see why some others vote for me - that thing with voting for Snerk twice. It was just a mistake.
But you vote on me is strange. Landlubber, why are you hating me so much?
Believable excuse. But then the "you vote on me is strange" sticks out a little. It seems a little bit like a mild OMGUS, which is usually village play.

I didnt have anything more than that. Is it so surprising?
Yes?

Jarrema, I'd like you to contribute something. Tell us how you feel about one of the wagons, or someone you find suspicious. Either that, or even just put your vote on someone who didn't do anything to you personally, and give some reasoning behind your vote. Tell us why that person seems off to you.

I can guarantee you that The Inquisitor is Anti-Town.

Why would a townie use a one-shot vig ability to kill someone under virtually no suspicion on Day 2?

Probably an inexperienced player.

Your two answers here are contradicting. You insist Snerk's killer is anti-town, then offer an explanation for how Snerk's killer could be town?

lurker's comment: Hello everyone, I am disg- delighted to tell you that I am now officially replacing SamSniped. Now I'll have to read around 180 posts, i.e. those since Majiffy was kicked.

One vote does not a "wagon" make

So… if anyone wants me to follow their leads for any vote, feel free to attempt to convince me. Don't be a smeghead!

Lots of meat today.

Double A, choxorn and spaceman all look good to me. Town mindset aplenty.

I'm leaning green on bladescape, with a side order of 'could he fake it?'

With Ken, I'm all over the place. Flipped back and forth as I read.

Everyone else I've got as scumlean or null.

Sprig and Luizeu really need to speak more, as they've said little, and all of what they have said is highlighted red in my notes.

Might also be feeling pressure from Martin and other people saying they suspect him but aren't voting for him. I wonder a bit about this part, though:

I don't really see him being scum, just because outright scum accusations are not a good play from town, but all he's provided is that he's pretty sure Kennigit is mafia. If Ken's scum, that suspicion should be lessened, although it could be a ploy to make him look better.

This paragraph meanders all over the place, he can't seem to decide whether he thinks Martin is town or scum, whether he's making a bad play or trying to make himself look better, and I'm not sure what he means by "outright scum accusations are not a good play from town."

Maybe I should vote for bladescape because he's posting from a phone…

Incidentally, I might as well appropriate tell you, guys, how town I am. You should trust me because I'm town.

So you'll give town reads but not scum reads? Who is scumlean and who is null?
