I am a Christian. I believe in my own interpretation of the bible, but officially I am a Lutheran Protestant. If they only knew what heresy I preach in this forum...

There are so many things I could say right now, but it wouldn't go anywhere nor change anything, so I'm going to bite my tongue on it.

I'm an Atheist, raised agnostic. My father is an Atheist and my mother detests all churches, so I really on my own when it came to religious upbringing.

If you want to be technical, sure...but use protestants, because Protestants (with a capital P) does not refer to the Orthodox religion.

You're right. There are three: Catholicism, Orthodoxy, and Protestantism. I am sorry I didn't mention that.

That's the Church of England. Other he... Protestants are different from the Catholic Church in other ways.
