The Russian Ambassador to the United Nations, the new United Nations looked out onto the almost empty stadium, the crisp night managed a warm lonliness.
"Let's get on with this," he motioned to the cameraman, "At least we're recording it."
The Electronic camera began with a warm hum to transpose the images to it's data chips. He looked up to it, attempting to look it in the eye.
"My fellow delegates.
"The time has come that a Union of Nations is once again necesarry. The Time has come to examine our role in this new World, in these new worlds, in this brave new Galaxy.
"Are we to be Peacemakers, or are we to strike out against peace? Is this Union to be a forum in which all ideas can be heard? Or will it become a tool for the strong to impose their will upon the weak? Are we to be respected, or are we to go quietly to the will of tyrants?
"We shall not follow the lead of certaint alliances and push platforms so broad as to be meaningless and we shall not force edicts upon peaceloving nations."
"It is in the spirit of the protectin of peace that I asj that this resolution, the First of this New Union be put forward.
As many of you know certain nations have been building their armed forces, though we cannot ascertain their target we do know that someone will face their wrath, So I as you, my fellow ambassadors to pass Resolution I:
Resolution 1:
If a UN member state is Invaded by A Nation on the UN list of 'Rouge States' that nation will receive full UN backing in it's defense and every effort will be made to ensure that the Borders are restored.
We also have to vote for Command Council and appoint Rougue STates.
I vote France and the Iron Fist for Rougue Status .
