Friends, foes, and rivals. This is a day that will start the largest war in history. A war which will decide the fate of many, many men. And for what? For a couple of nation's imperialistic ideas.

Leaders, listen to me. The aggression showed by the USSR was not militarily backed, as you have seen. They have not used force to obtain their visions. This is how it is prefered to be, right? We all of different views of how the world should be - yet it is what the nation does about it that decides the fate. The Soviets used diplomacy, not war.

And yet, the nations of France, UK, Aztecs, Carib Union, and many others have decided they will "attack first". Do you really agree this was the best answer? Do you truly believe that if they did not strike first, that USSR would attack them, and loose support of all it's allies? I think not.

Please, understand this. For all those nations joining the dogpile upon USSR, they will not go down easily, and not without the USA going down with them. You may not think you are going against a formidable foe, but believe me, you may have enemies right under your noses. I herby declare war one anyone who does not make peace with USSR, and withdraws.

The Egyptian Parliament has been in fierce debates for months about the war. The conservative National Liberation Army was pro-France, but much of the Parliament was afraid of French Imperialism in the end, the Parliament voted to support the USSR by one vote. The vote was 100 votes to 50 in favor of the USSR. Later that day, the President, Foreign Affairs Minister, and Defense Minister signed a statement. The statement read:

"The Federal Republic of Egypt is now in a state war with all members of the Grand Alliance and the Byzantine Empire. Also, Egypt will provide military and economic aid in this World War to members of the Southern Alliance and the Nation of Ireland. This statement will take effect immediately and be rendered void when peace between all nations is negotiated."

General Mohammed Atef got the news when he was sitting down for dinner. Soon, he was on his way out the door organizing troops for an attack on French and Byzantine targets. It was total war.

To all allies: I propose we name our alliance the Alliance of the Free World. The USSR while the only nation to not have full democracy, allows its citizens to vote for their local soviets and allows for a Trotoskyist view of Socialism, in where more than one party participates. Aims of the USSR is to bring this to the next level realiseing Sheep's view of a socialist democracy.

The Indian National Assembly was in turmoil.After several decades of peace and the final dwindling of the aggressive Zulu India had slowly,but steadily gained international recognition,wealth and land.The German colonies were Indian once again and the island of Okinawa had just recently been seized by the Federal Indian Army (FIA).But now,all of a sudden,World War 6 had erupted over a tiny piece of land in Vietnam.A colonial conflict between France and the Philippines had enlarged into a global war already involving 3/4 of Earth's nations.He wished for peace to continue forever,but he knew a nation in such exposed position like India could not remain neutral in such a war.President Changez himself was an anti-communist,but the Assembly was split.Personal opinions,emotions,family traditions all mixed together made the representatives decide which side to support. The Assembly was made up of 700 members from all parts of India;finally,in the end 376 voted to join the Grand Alliance fighting the Red Menace.

I guess you have chosen war, and once again you destruction.

I do not wish the Indian people to be in ruins again, that is why I ask you to remain neutral, or join our side who will triumph. You obviously do not understand why the war has come around.

From a simple threat, using diplomacy rather then weapons, the USSR was trying to get the Vietnam territory. We all try to get territory, don't deny it. But he did not use force, it was the Grand Alliance that turned into an aggressive state and attacked us first.

So you, the peace loving Indians, would rather join the agressors, then the defenders? If you do, the Incans shall always remember this.

World War VI Erupts!
Chancellor Bernt Hass is said to be fuming at Germany's friends and allies in Britain and France following their attack on the Soviet Union. The Chancellor today announced that many questions will need to be answered before Germany can take a decision on who to support in this war which threatens to tear the world apart.

OOC: I do not see why only the Grand Alliance nations managed to reach the next tech. level? Isn't this a bit unfair?
On what grounds did they recieve it? Germany is no different from any of the GA nations, 1st World Living conditions, Excellant Education... I know it sounds like I'm moaning (and I guess I am) but I just think it's unfair that just because they declared war they get all this new technology...
