Arabian paratroopers swooped into Cyprus at 6:00am in the morning to quickly sieze important air-strips and military installations on the island. The fighting was breif and bloody with the Arabian army finally taking full control of the island from the Byzantines.
King Ahmed-Mulhari has said that the war is an important step towards uniting the middle-east, "This is not a war against the Byzantines, we seek to retake the lands of the middle-east and Cyprus is the final piece we need to bring about stability."
