The city laid in rubble again.240 years ago,under the rule of the great dictator Arya,when Delhi had been the center of the Iron Fist,the troops of the first United Nations had fought a long,bloody way all through India until they finally reached Delhi,where they found Arya dead-and with him many million people who had not fit Aryas cruel imagination of a 'pure' Indian.But luckily,many nations didn't want to see an ancient nation like India being occupied,so they imposed a UN resolution making India,through much smaller,independent and democratic again.
In the following centuries,under the rule of President Changez (another Immortal) the Federal Republic of India had prospered and become a peacful member of the World community.Sometimes there had been the need to wage war,so India even became a big power again,owning land in Africa and Japan again.Then the nation engaged in a costly empire,which finally brought Sri Lanka home to India,but for this gaining eternal Indonesian hostility.When President Changez fell ill with BN1 like many other Indians,Indias neighbours saw their chance and invaded India.Though their nations had also suffered from BN1,their leadership was still intact and with their modern weapons Arabia,Indonesia and China quickly overran the country and partitioned it.This time,as wars were going on in the Americas,Europe and Africa,nobody cared about the fall of India.
Luckily the Chinese president changed his mind (some said because of his favourite-curtisan of Indian descent) and brokered a deal with his allies giving him one half of Delhi,which was made independent in the year 1000 A.D.Though,many Delhi citizens now had another way to calculate time.Following the astonishing Chinese victory and the 'clementia Caesaris' of the Chinese ruler,many Delhi citizens had converted to Jewish faith.
Times are not good for Delhi.The Arabs,occupying one half of Delhi have built a massive wall around their part of the city and there are rumours the hated Indonesians will do the same,isolating the city,to force China to stop support for North Delhi.Meanwhile a war is fought in the North between USNA/Korea and China/allies,including several hundred Delhi volunteers.As it is now the Nuclear Age,every local war can very well erupt into a Global catastrophy.Some say,the Delhi wall could even be the start of this new Armageddon.
