Assyrians 20
Babylonians 24
Byzantines 16
Carthaginians 14
Dutch 24
Ethiopians 21
Hittites 24 (23 + 1) A major necessity.
Incas 27
Indonesians 17
Iroquois 15
Khmer 21
Koreans 24
Malians 21
Mayans 19 (22 -3) Not very exciting compared to the rest of the 20+ nations.
Mongols 24
Moroccans 14
Ottoman Turks 23
Polynesians 6
Portuguese 17
Shoshone 7
Siamese 18
Sioux 12

Moroccans 14
Ottoman Turks 23
Polynesians 6
Portuguese 17
Shoshone 7
Siamese 18 +1 = 19 No Zaarin, you're not the only who wants them back, although I'd certainly prefer Naresuan, Taksin or Narai
Sioux 12
Songhai 18 - 3 = 15 I really prefer Mali over them, and I don't think we can have both.
Swedish 12

Assyrians 20

Mayans 19
Mongols 24
Moroccans 14
Ottoman Turks 23
Polynesians 6
Portuguese 17
Shoshone 4 (7 - 3) The Shoshone were a great choice for Civ V, but I'd rather see some new North American civs than bring them back immediately.
Siamese 19
Sioux 13 (12 + 1) This is an iconic native civ, and while they'd technically be returning, it's been long enough that I'd guess the majority of current civ players have never seen them in game.
Songhai 15
Swedish 12

Assyrians 20
Babylonians 24
Byzantines 16
Carthaginians 14
Dutch 24
Ethiopians 21
Hittites 24
Incas 27
Indonesians 17
Iroquois 15
Khmer 21
Koreans 24
Malians 21
Mayans 19
Mongols 24
Moroccans 14
Ottoman Turks 23
Polynesians 6 + 1 = 7 I have other priorities on this list, but I do not want them to fall so fast. Even being a conglomerate civ, Polynesia as a whole is a more viable option than including separate Polynesian states as civs.
Portuguese 17
Shoshone 4 - 3 = 1 I have explained before, but again: this was just a last-minute choice and it does not interest me.
Siamese 19
Sioux 13
Songhai 15
Swedish 12

Assyrians 20
Babylonians 24+1=25 The game feels incomplete without them.
Byzantines 16
Carthaginians 14
Dutch 24
Ethiopians 21
Hittites 24
Incas 27
Indonesians 17
Iroquois 15
Khmer 21
Koreans 24
Malians 21
Mayans 19
Mongols 24
Moroccans 14
Ottoman Turks 23
Polynesians 7
Portuguese 17
Shoshone 1
Siamese 19
Sioux 13
Songhai 15
Swedish 12-3=9 Since this game is about prioritizing the returning civs rather than voting them off the island, I'd say the Swedes are a pretty low priority right now.

Assyrians 20
Babylonians 25
Byzantines 16
Carthaginians 14
Dutch 24
Ethiopians 21
Hittites 24
Incas 27
Indonesians 17

Khmer 21
Koreans 24
Malians 21
Mayans 19
Mongols 24
Moroccans 14
Ottoman Turks 23
Polynesians 6 - 3 = 3 - No to Polynesia, yes to Hawaii!
Portuguese 17
Shoshone 4
Siamese 19
Sioux 13
Songhai 15
Swedish 9 + 1 = 10 - I love Sweden, and I don't mind seeing many civs from the same regions as long as they are different.

Assyrians 20
Babylonians 25
Byzantines 17 (16 + 1) -- How about Alexios I Komnenos this time? Theodora could use a break, and this would give the civ greater distance from Western Rome.
Carthaginians 14
Dutch 24
Ethiopians 21
Hittites 24
Incas 27
Indonesians 17
Iroquois 15
Khmer 21
Koreans 24
Malians 21
Mayans 19
Mongols 24
Moroccans 14
Ottoman Turks 23
Polynesians 3
Portuguese 17
Shoshone 4
Siamese 19
Sioux 10 (13 - 3) -- The Sioux are pretty near the bottom of my list of Native American civs I'd like to see. They're already overrepresented in the media compared to other cultures, and their only major accomplishment was fighting (and losing) a series of bloody wars against the US. If that's our only criterion, I say we go with the Seminole--their wars were bloodier.
Songhai 15
Swedish 10

The point I gave to Byzantines earlier was lost by the next poster. Can the next person please add another point to them?

Let's just make it easier like this -
This is what we have now with civviefan's vote for the Byzantines.

Assyrians 20
Babylonians 25
Byzantines 18
Carthaginians 14
Dutch 24
Ethiopians 21
Hittites 24
Incas 27
Indonesians 17
Iroquois 15 + 1 = 16 (The People of the Longhouse and their militarily mighty and politically important confederacy presents unique potential for a Native American civ that used gunpowder while also holding fast to fascinating cultural and spiritual beliefs. Their influence in wars between Europeans in what later became the U.S. also presents unique opportunities for a cool scenario. )
Khmer 21
Koreans 24
Malians 21
Mayans 19
Mongols 24
Moroccans 14
Ottoman Turks 23
Polynesians 4 (corrected based on the above)
Portuguese 17
Shoshone 4
Siamese 19
Sioux 10
Songhai 15
Swedish 10 - 3 = 7 (Least interesting civilization on this list, despite Adolphus, Margaret the Great, and other cool leader opportunities.)

Sioux 11 (10 + 1) While overrepresented in the media, they're probably the best representatives of plains native culture, and I'd be happy to see them make a return. If you're interested in learning more about them, check out the podcast History on Fire by Daniele Bolelli. He has episodes on Crazy Horse and the Black Hills War.
Songhai 15
Swedish 4 (7 -3) Europe is already a bit crowded. I'd rather see most of the rest of the civs on the list before Sweden, but I'd be fine with them returning eventually.

Assyrians 20-3=17 Gilgamesh's Sumeria is similar to Assyria...Plus Macedon has a similar unique ability to Assyria's Civ5 one

While Asia is underrepresented at the moment I'd prefer to see some other more sizable and heavy hitting powers before Korea inevitably returns. While the history of Korea is an interesting and storied one of a culture constantly beset upon by larger powers for thousands of years but still maintaining an identity all its own rather than conforming to its neighbors I just feel other Asian civs in more geographically diverse regions that are remembered more for genuinely thriving rather than just surviving should be included first (and yes I know Korea had its days in the sun when it came to trade and technology but it would still find itself eclipsed by its larger neighbors far more often than not).

Speaking of Asian civs in more geographically diverse regions that are remembered more for thriving rather than surviving... Siam.

Iroquois 13 (16 - 3) I don't like how they were portrayed in Civ 5 at all (woodland savages), even though the AI tended to use them very well.

Swedish 6 (5 + 1) Even though these guys are going to die, I'm upvoting them due to the impact of Gustavus Adolphus and the Swedish Empire in general.

Please note; I pretty much always vote at around 9pm NZ time (12 hours ahead of Greenwich). I couldn't vote then tonight, but I will return to that time tomorrow.

Iroquois 13 (16 - 3) I don't like how they were portrayed in Civ 5 at all (woodland savages), even though the AI tended to use them very well.

You'd hope that wouldn't have any bearing on how their portrayal could be in VI.

Siamese 20
Sioux 11
Songhai 15
Swedish 6 + 1 = 7 I like Sweden, and how they were worked on civ5. I'm trying to avoid them from falling before other less priority civs on this list, like Shoshone.
