Revolution IOT

Assuming Riccio can do so, it would like to rename the Glory Corps the Venetian Republic of the Coasts, or New Venice as it will be commonly known.

Treaty of Paris

-Shall sign formal treaties of non-aggression with each other
-Shall enjoy free trade with each other
-Shall commit to each other’s defense against naked aggression not instigated by the member in question

I guess you could say Castile was claimed in the name of Spain...

From Riccio
To Spain

Would the new Spanish government be open to signing the Treaty of Paris promulgated by your predecessors?

Treaty of Paris

The Treaty ensures free trade between Riccio, Castile and the Glory Corps; it also establishes a treaty of mutual defense between all three of us; considering Castile already has a defense pact with Riccio, and Riccio has one with the Glory Corps, we reason it would be useful for Western Atlantic peace if we agreed to this accord.

Riccio proposes free trade with Birmingham, which is under Castilian suzerainty.

To enrich both ourselves and our allies, Riccio also proposes that Birmingham sign free trade with the Glory Corps, and that the Glory Corps sign free trade with Castile.

To conclude, Castile, Riccio, the Glory Corps, and Birmingham will all sign free trade with each other, greatly boosting the economy of Western Europe and West Africa.

Is this proposal acceptable to the Spanish delegation?

The Unitary State of America is looking for defensive pacts for any powers interested.

The Kingdom of Bauarn within Holy Rome wishes to formalize treaties of free trade with the Castilian Empire, the Birmingham Trade League, the Kingdom of Norway, the Federal Republic of Coastal Nations, and the Russian Empire. Failing that, Bauarn also offers preferred status for prospective merchants.

@Iceland, this farce has gone on long enough; transfer 2 LPs to us & we shall pull out & end the blockade.

Wallachia
-use 1 LP to claim the two provinces ebtwen me, the Baltics, and the Russian Empire.

Income: 308+4 banked = 312 EP.
200 is used for armies
10 for Navy
2 is sent to WHOEVER CLAIMS IT FIRST (EXCEPT BAIKAL HORDE). EDIT: claimed by Riccio
100 is spent on as many manufactories as possible.

Free Trade Agreement sent to Baltic Union.
Favored Trade Agreement with Roman Empire.
NAP sent to Bauarish, Roman Empire, Spain, Baltic Union and Glory Corps.

In honour of the Phoenix Bond the inner Dominion is eager to sigh the Treaty of Paris.

Riccio will take the 2 EP! It thanks Wallachia enormously for its generosity and promises good relations in the future. :)

The Glory Corps accept the NAP with Wallachia.

In honour of the Phoenix Bond the inner Dominion is eager to sigh the Treaty of Paris.

The Glory Corps and Riccio support Chinese inclusion in the Treaty of Paris; what does Spain say?

In the meantime, the Glory Corps offers free trade to China.

After a rather long PM conversation, I realized the espionage system isn't really that great, so I'm going to remove it and...I don't know, replace it with something else.

Espionage replaced with this.

Crisis System and Revolt Risk

If a Great Power makes a public ultimatum on another Great Power, there is a Crisis. During a Crisis, there is a 48 hour period in which players can pledge support in public for one side or the other. Pledging support during a Crisis decreases Factory costs to 4 EP. If the Crisis is diffused, bonus is kept. If war starts, bonus is kept, but army costs decrease to 4 EP.

Only the Great Powers involved can end the war. For gameplay purposes, if they were a Great Power at the beginning of the war, they are throughout the war, even if they no longer have the score.

Losing a Great War

If you lose a Great War, either by bowing out early or by losing the peace negotiations, your country will be hit with "Lost the Great War" penalty for five turns.

Army and Factory costs increase to 6 EP. Fleet costs increase to 12 EP. Buying at normal prices increases RR by 5%. Buying at the discount price increases RR by 10%.

Other Changes

Since I got rid of the Privateer espionage action, blockades can now reduce trade to 0. Each turn of a blockade reduces the targeted country's trade by 25% until it hits 0. Once a blockade is lifted, trade increases by 25% until it hits the full level.

So if trade is reduced to 0, it will take four turns for it to get back to the full level.
