So AL blocks all spells that don't have the bAbility tag? I guess that is the same thing.

Of the city abilities, what (rough) percentage are common to all civs, and how many are civ-unique?

Will the abilities require resources? Mana? (I can't remember if you plan on revamping magic this version or next...)

That is correct, all spells except those with the bAbility tag. So it should work for City Spells as well.... They are still spells. Same xml file, even, only difference between city spells and unit spells is the <bCitySpell> tag. :lol:

For now, all city spells are unique to the civ. This is because for the majority of civs, they are simply world spells. Only the Sidar currently have more than that.

The system will be expanded in 1.4, which is when magic will be revamped; That is my project while Opera and GreyFox work on Leaders. ;)
 
To me, it sounds like version 1.3 has enough changes to warrant a jump to 2.0.

Yeah, locking up firefox, not so cool. Is that suppose to run out eventually, or was task manager the only option?

Nah, it was Valk's. The window did stop moving, but I ran out of patience for the popups. I thought they were looping, but it may have just been the song.

Anyway, returning to something that vaguely makes sense...
I'm working on a module that makes leaders act a little better. So far, I've got some feedback on warring, with this module, some civs won't hesitate to join in wars, and to start them.
Got a version ready for internal testing with higher religion values and flavour values, waiting to be tested.
Also, got a version of Mana Is Shiny working perfectly, and a Top Secret Module, that should be finished in time for 1.3
