While in college, our friend Chris bought Civilization[1]. My roommate and I would spend whole weekends at Chris' place, playing through a single game. Those games would sometimes last over 72 hours

Sean was the "Military Guy", Chris was the "Diplomacy Guy", and I was the "Infrastructure Guy". Sometimes we'd be hung up for an hour or so, debating what to build in a city!

That would have been in 1992, I suppose. Because we were all in college, we could just barely afford a large pizza and a case of beer. My, how things have changed
