24, software development in test. I studied physics in college, glad to see there's some physicists and scientists in here.

I began playing Civ with Civ 1, back in 94-95. Played every game in the series, and each one has been better than the last.

26 responsible for a small hotel during nighttime. it's so boring i have no choice but to play civ ;) started back in 90 with CivI on my Amiga 600 system:)

Got Civ with my first PC. Had to cart the PC in the car from Canberra to Melb and read the whole manual on the trip before even starting the game.
 
21 with a degree in Computer Science & Maths but working as Bank Teller... gotta get money somehow!

While in college, our friend Chris bought Civilization[1]. My roommate and I would spend whole weekends at Chris' place, playing through a single game. Those games would sometimes last over 72 hours :)

Sean was the "Military Guy", Chris was the "Diplomacy Guy", and I was the "Infrastructure Guy". Sometimes we'd be hung up for an hour or so, debating what to build in a city!

That would have been in 1992, I suppose. Because we were all in college, we could just barely afford a large pizza and a case of beer. My, how things have changed :blush:

How did this poll end up in the Strategy forum? :) Ah, wait. I get it, now. The poll is in the Strategy & Tips forum because it gives tips on marketing strategy. LOL.
