yes, it is NOT a big change. that's why i saw no problem with introducing it. it's not half the world though, its if you're bigger then EACH of your enemies, not all of them combined.

was gonna do the update before i left work in about an hour, but i'm not sure i'll be able to finish it if i start now (didnt notice the time) cause being at work i get a lot of interuptions, lol.
Still dont have orders from Amon Savage - Austria.
Will do update as soon as i get home, which will be about 2.5 hours from the time of this post (6:30 eastern US time).
if i dont have Austria's orders by then, then i'll just have to do them, but being enraged about not getting the orders will proly make me do some stupid things with the poor, unsuspecting nation. j/k

Territory 69 - Handed over to Sweden.
Territory 59 - Germany 4 vs Russia 5
While at first it seemed that the germans would hold their own, their reserves depleted much quicker and the battle turned into a rout.
Territory 53 - Russia 1 vs Turkey 2
The Russians quickly realized they were outnumbered and retreated back to their homes.
Territory 35 - France 2 vs Sweden 2 vs Germany 2
All three nations tried to colonize this territory at once with the same number of forces. After a long an confusing dance around the same valley, the Germans were able to trick the French into thinking that Sweden had joined them, so the French retreated. The germans then surprised the Swedish forces very early one morning and were able to scare them back to their boats.
Territory 18 - Africa 2 vs Spain 1
The Africans were able to unload their armies here before being met by a large Spanish fleet. The Armies did their job and scared of the fewer numbered Spanish.
Sea I - Africa 2 vs Spain 8
Seeing the hopelessness of their situation, the African captains agreed to just ram into the Spanish fleets, and took out as many ships as they themselves had. Most of the Spanish sailors were saved by their countrymen.

We refuse to encroach upon another nations sovereignty, especially that of our allies in Austria. Russian diplomats should be ashamed at suggesting such treacherous acts. Perhaps Russias over-exuberance to engage in such actions is cause for her current crisis. Italy maintains strict neutrality in the affairs of others and continues to encourage world peace as it leads to prosperity for all.

I've been having some heavy discussion about the way the "war income" thing can be abused (and it can), so i'm gonna give it a lot of though today and maybe tweak it a bit. I dont realy like to change rules midgame, so i'll try not to make it anything major (hopefully, like the other edit, that only comes into effect in extreme cases).
The wording i chose for the trade system might be a bit off. Maybe i shouldnot have used "ally" and "enemy" but instead something like "active trading" and "trade sanctions" or something.
the word "ally" is used too much in its military aplication, and i think it might be causing confusion here. so watch out for that in your dealings with other nations.
only have like 4 ordes so far, but i wasnt expecting to get all of them quickly anyway considering that this turn is seeing a lot of trade deals break down and wars starting up. so i'll be prety patient, but please send them as soon as you know what you're doing and who you're allying/warring with. remember that those that HAVE sent orders already are waiting around with little to do (in this game atleast) so dont make them wait too long.
