Obligatory Rant:
- I keep saying this: All idle workers should be flogged.
We obviously no longer need the hammers, and we need the happy -- which is why Calendar is selected I presume. I wined the, umh, well, wines, and canceled the order for Calendar (do they have those naked women calendars? They don't? Nah, cancel it!)
- Learn to pillage.
Those are just gold on the floor waiting to be picked, ... and we are too lazy to bend down? Geez.
On with the game ...
The Search for Huayna's Palace
Our troops cornered a HC's chariot:
With a fair amount of torture (like endless Fox's rant), he revealed that HC is towards north.
Yeah, big news. As if we haven't already know that!
So northward we go ... a few things happened in the mean time, and that's for later. We finally reached the yellow border ... what's this? A settling party?
You cannot pass! I am a servant of the Secret Fire, welder of the Flame of Sitting Bull! The dark AP will not avail you, Flame of Incans! Go back to the shadow. YOU SHALL NOT PASS!
And pass they certainly did not ... neither did they go back.
They settled.
Only to be razed immediately ....
And at the end, we still have yet found the AP. But I am pretty certain it is here:
We could either go NE to raze the city first, or we could go NW to see if Cuzco is really there. I would suggest NE, since this give us time for our newly upgraded maces to arrive. If Cuzco is really there, it will probably be better defended than this. But to our advantage, think HC has no metal
To hasten our troops movement, I am moving a general and a worker here. Worker shall road the place, while general is meant to turn the medic into supermedic.
Why am I moving worker and GG first instead of troops? Well, The dogs are being upgraded so I might as well move the worker first.
Speaking of which, while moving troops, I found that Ragnar returned from the deads. Damned, there must be necromancer around.
So, while moving troops back for upgrade, I decided to exorcise the land first.
The Path of Confusion
Well, someone mentioned getting ourselves confused to prevent AP lost. I tried.
Hmmm ... TRY HARDER.
A prophet arrives ... a good sign.
And indeed:
Now, only the capitol is not confused.
Again, I tried:
Again, I failed.
I ordered another missionary, next player can try.
However, I think we should not revolt to confused.
Why? Because there will be 1 turn of revolt. Duh!
But more importantly, here's why:
We are already at 2/3 of freddy's votes. If we revolted, we would have surpassed Freddy and become the AP candidate -- if that happens, we will lose!!! So, we should confused our capitol to increase our votes, but we
should never revolt to confused so that we never become eligible for candidacy.
Other Stuffs ...
Firstly, Freddy says hello.
Hmmm ... just when we are about to board the ships.
Then, we say goodbye to him.
Nice to
meat you.
Someone got Chickened ...
and we got a series of useless events:
Yeah, mining is a hazardous work. I know.
Woohoo!

A nice vent! ALl crossbows get promoted!
WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE GOT ZERO CROSSBOWS?!?!
Don't be mad, have truffle.
Yeah, very useful!!!
Oh, and we have a barb wondering in the east.
He has not been seen since, but he's there.
Research and Builds
I completed optics, and upgraded most of our triremes to caravels. One is heading east, and the other is heading west -- we want the circumnavigation bonus. It will hasten troops movement.
I continued to get us Drama. We need those theaters. They are the cheapest culture giving building (in terms of hammer-cpt ratio). Plus it enables the culture slider (without which, we cannot win).
It is already 1480 ... we have to plan for the big switch to 100% culture. Our slowest cottage will take 60 turns to become town, so we should plan the switch in 80-100 turns. Ideally, we should at least get Printing Press by then (better Liberalism), and have the cathedrals erected. We are still lacking temples, so do not get too engrossed in military. They are of second priority in general. In fact, apart from a few ships, I built ZERO military in my turns.
But that is assuming we can get to victory before the AI get to astronomy ... unlikely. Hence, we may have to plan for getting to steel (frigates). Do we have enough time to win if we switch only then?
