Whats country has the better sausage? America's delicious hotdog(mustard optional,) or Polands disgusting kielbasa?

Hotdog

(Mmhm just like mom used to make.)

Kielbasa

My mom made her own sausages. I would if I had a meat grinder attachment to my mixxer.

Hot Italian sausage with sauted peppers and onions.

First of all, the hotdog bun, while white and soft and tasty, shouldn't count. It is the calibre of the sausage itself we are talking about. As such I submit two more balanced images into consideration:

Mouthwatering, tender kielbasa:

Or a hotdog of the kind "your dad would prepare" (after having a few beers at a grill party):

I would not be suprised to see someone gallantly throw a lame-ass euphemism in any minute.

Shows how much you know. My dad prepares his hotdogs in the nude, after drinking atleast five beers through a funnel. This is the American way.

So could I. Was all ready to see a topic which claimed we were allowed to gorge ourselves all day on sausages for the sake of a celebrated holiday.

Rather disappointed now :(

Hmmmm me thinks sausage fest means something different to me.

We could CartFart, but we'd miss out on discussing one of the most wonderful aspects of life on Earth.
I guess you are right (jesus! I just agree with imPerfy!), it would be something useful to reveal the inner nature of how posters have the knack of manipulating words.

Mustard is NOT optional. It is mandatory.

But it is the American Way only so far as those americans who have not yet discovered the wonderfully flavored world of european sausage are forced to drink large amounts of beer to deal with lack of taste in american hotdog sausages.

Case in point:
Coneyhdog.jpg

An American Chili Hot Dog, a dish that while probably tastes great, owes it's flavor more to the chili and other condiments poured into the bun, rather than the sausage itself.

This, together with the need to imbibe beer, is a symptom of the general lack of taste in standard (i.e. not influenced by European cooking) American sausages.

You forget though, no matter what you put on a hotdog it'll still taste good. If you put half the stuff that you'd ussually put on a hotdog on a european sausage, it would taste awful. We drink beer with hotdogs, because beer goes good with hotdogs not because hotdogs suck.
