SheepNES: Modern Battlefields: MAIN THREAD

Looks good. However there was no mention of Iraq or Afghanistan but knowing sheep I guess there is a reason behind that. Ya thats right United Kingdom is going green!!

Yes there was. Look closer.

I dont say anything about what happens in some war zones, this is because I simply havent rolled the dice yet to work that out. Iraq is actually going to be the spotlight.

Yes, this will be an excellent update :)

*waits to see if Luxembourg made amazing scientific breakthrough*

General question Re: ESA man in space, they could really do it now with their Soyuz launchers bought from Russia. Or do you mean with their own technology (in which case 2 years is...ambitious)?
OOC: Only if they bought the Soyuz vehicle along with it. Building a space-vehicle capable of sustaining life support to modern standards (including radiation shielding along with the avionics and so on) is neither cheap nor quick, and doing it in 2 years when it took the American program 3.5 years to go from nothing to a manned flight--with vastly more budget and less stringent requirements, is fairly ridiculous. Europe has Ariana boosters, admittedly, but those are payload boosters.

The idea of a European--or any--aerospace consortium fabricating a functioning space vehicle in 2 years, when production of say, the Eurofighter, took 8 years (1986 through 1994) is just absurd.

ooc well when you got money nothing is absurd. Just remember we can build a rocket, we can build a space vehicle and we can even make the space shuttle go up, but will it stay up is the question.

200 posts yay (smart ass comment not needed)

@Symphony D; thats what I meant, and there are negociations going on right now in the real world.

Sometimes money isn't enough - you need skill, materials and time. I'm suprised you've even got the money ;), unless you have massively boosted the tax rate...

but will it stay up is the question.
OOC: Wrong. The question is whether it's cost-effective and survivable. And unless vehicles were bought from elsewhere, I certainly doubt either. :p

Let them dream, Symph. The Europeans have come up with worse wastes of money anyway...

OOC: Oh you'll see... You'll All see *Cackles madly*

I very much like both mentions of my Nation's name in the update preview. Very much looking forward to it. (Being the good type that will be worth waiting for)
