Should you report Cannibis dealing?

Use isn't a criminal offence here and you can have small plants for personal use. 7 of our 298 prisoners are in there for dealing or trafficking, but I'd be shocked if any of them got a prison sentence in our system for selling cannabis. More likely to be something produced in a lab.

Yes, it's true. But criminalization doesn't stop cannabis from getting into the hands of the vulnerable. It's just a fact of life, but nearly anyone can get it. And in order to stop people from getting it, we would need to increase police powers 10x and vastly harm society.

The criminalization of marijuana is a HUGE drain. We'd be much better off legalizing it, and using some of the savings to push for treatments and cures. Plus, there are hosts and hosts of people who are not negatively affected.

And the people who are affected by it? I guess they don't matter, so it should be just perfectly fine if my neighbor decides to make everyone else in this wing of the building miserable.

My opinion about smoking anything: Fine, as long as you do it in an enclosed environment that doesn't let any smoke, vapors, smells, or other pollution into the outer environment. You can poison your body all you want. You don't have the right to poison mine.

And yes, I'd report any illegal drug dealing I knew about.

This question was brought to the fore for me for two reasons

There was a vehicle crime in my area, and secondly my neighbor downstairs uses Cannabis and stinks up the lobby, not only that but I know who deals it or rather I know the vehicle used ( I have the license plate number)

Agreed 100%.

But no, smokers have to litter their drug related paraphernalia everywhere. I have no idea why everybody seems to think that throwing your cigarette butts on the ground is "a-okay".

Do your drug somewhere where it doesn't affect the rest of us, please. And take all your garbage with you.

The only thing I am really sure I would report my neighbors for is serial murder. If a person can't find a better way to deal with neighbors being disruptive than calling the cops they need to be a hermit.

My neighborhood significantly improved once I started reporting every instance of failure to clear sidewalks of snow/ice.

Just heavily regulated and heavily taxed, and absent from most public spaces.

That's okay, I see it more than clearly enough for both of us. Fair bet your neighbors do as well. All in all, they may well prefer talking to the cops.
