The first one modifies the cost of techs per player that are on the same team. Two players on a team would cause techs to cost the double and I think 3 players on a team would triple the cost of techs.

The second one reduces a techs cost by 50% if all civs on a team have researched the tech. If one third of all civs in the team have the tech you get 50/3 ≈ 16% tech cost reduction, you count as one of the players so will actually never get the full 50%
if you the team consist of 2 players and the other one have researched a tech then you get a 25% tech cost reduction.

The third one reduces the cost of techs by 8 percent if you have researched all the prereq techs for that tech, this would only matter if we used multiple OR PREREQS more often.
Pretty much all techs have a 8 % reduction due to that modifier.
Only nomadic lifestyle and language are not affected by that modifier at all.

From what I saw on the commenting there was nothing to fix.

Sounds like the Subdue_Animals_CIV4UnitClassInfos needs to be merged into CIV4UnitClassInfos. Wonder why I did not get those errors?

I am not going to get a chance to do the merge today.

These ones really don't do much to help me out. Even running the debugger. It suggests that something we did really upset the compatibility perhaps. I'm really not sure. The crash is in the exe and I think there's a LOT that's taking place between the last point in the dll and the crash. I do not suspect it has anything to do with a graphic problem. Honestly... they both confuse tremendously and confound even the generation of a theory.

Hopefully this is not something all games would experience but has something to do with changes made mid-stream.

EDIT: I may have been hasty in this assessment. I managed to find a foothold on an investigative line of reasoning. I may be able to get a fix but this is gonna take a while.

Ok, I've managed to 'fix' salvelinus's bug. It amounts to disabling all defensive combat animations until we're ready to do lots of tests to see what animal, attacking a fort, was causing a crash. I think it was a bird. Anyhow, I tracked it to the last possible thing taking place in the dll which was to send for the combat animation. We seem to have a lot of problems with this lately and this animal was NOT invisible so that had nothing to do with it.

However, SO's bug was still pointing at something being altered or adjusted at a time when it was not safe to do so. I've seen something similar when I was trying to crack a password in a MP game, a security parameter was somehow breached??? I dunno... When this happens it does all it can to dodge much evaluation.

The mini... for whatever reason did not run on my files - I don't THINK I recompiled recently but I dunno.

I do not know if it helps, but the buffalo are unusually strong, in attack regularly kill the neanderthal, and in defense the hunters. The game crashes after a spectacled bear attacks a atlatist. The atlatist is set to 3 slinger and a settler. In any case, sending the last minidump.

Sun bear, no spectacled bear. However I went in worldbuider, and I removed the animals in attack. After this the game works ... until the next attack by some animal. It can be a determining factor te option "reckless animals" selected to the creation of the game?

If you are playing with Size Matters, they can spawn at large group volumes (battalion) but they may also spawn in very small group volumes (solo).
Can a chaser take out one that is solo? then I think they are balanced.
If not I may reduce their :strength:

from 3 → 2 or perhaps lower their combat quality one grade.

Nope. It's caused by the animation being flawed. Everything reads right up until the time the dll calls for the animation sequence to take place in the exe. All combatants are fully visible in this case. Therefore, I have basically disabled defensive combat animations until we're ready to audit the animations of these units causing issues.
