Single Player bugs and crashes v38 plus (SVN) - After the 20th of February 2018

2nd edit: I have chnaged the graphics settings to low, turned the Graphics Paging and the Viewports on and off and nothing helped. Still getting these CTDs when switching city views a number of times from one city to the other
I've experienced this (flipping from city screen to city screen) as a way to generate a crash from vanilla. I think it's a core exe crash for some graphic systems that doesn't affect them all. IIRC.

As a player I just got used to not doing it or cause a crash. Probably a memory leak in that process or something. I've been going out to the map to find the next city in a routine that way rather than flipping through cities on the city screen for ages.
 
SVN 10059: Medevac Dropship is unbuildable: Medevac Dropship requires Megatower (Medical Level), which requires Personal Electronics. The only producer of Personal Electronics (P. E. Factory) obsoletes at Plastic Electronics.

Plastic Electronics -> Electromagnetic Field Shielding -> Wireless Electricity -> Skyroads

Skyroads is needed for Medevac Dropship.

This could be resolved if the Electronics Manufacturing District was a producer of Personal Electronics.
 
SVN 10059: Medevac Dropship is unbuildable: Medevac Dropship requires Megatower (Medical Level), which requires Personal Electronics. The only producer of Personal Electronics (P. E. Factory) obsoletes at Plastic Electronics.

Plastic Electronics -> Electromagnetic Field Shielding -> Wireless Electricity -> Skyroads

Skyroads is needed for Medevac Dropship.

This could be resolved if the Electronics Manufacturing District was a producer of Personal Electronics.
Update to SVN 10066 as there was another AI bug fixing.
It seems like its @pepper2000 domain, he did buildings like these.

Also looks like @Toffer90 pedia doesn't display ALL items requiring given resource.

I think a lot of that was pre-pepper. If you want to update with his suggested fix, go for it.

Electronics Manufacturing District was his though, but I'll fix this one.
He said that some of his stuff is generated trough scripts.

The problem for me is that finding the cities across the map also leads to a CTD pretty soon. That all was not an issue when I began this game and got worse over time. Maybe because the map became more complicated. Or because of whatever :confused: ...

Good catch. I will change that in my next update.

hmm... keep sending in minis. Maybe sooner or later we'll get one that works. Try packaging with 7z rather than adding the .txt extension. That MAY have something to do with my inability to get the minis to work.

@strategyonly I'll check it out asap.

Does anyone know where @alberts2 wandered off to?
 
No problem with packing the MiniDumps. I get a CTD every 10 minutes or so, therfore I can send you many of them. In fact I could if I had more time to play in the next few days.
Do you have unit combat animations on?
 
Yes, I have and turning them off doesn´t change anything (tried all the other graphics settings, too).
I just know that its never been verified that one can play without regular crashes without turning on the fast attack options and thus disabling the combat animations.
 
It seems like there is small bug with guillotine: It doesn't obsolete unlike other death punishment buildings.
What would be good obsolete tech for it @Thunderbrd ?
