Single Player bugs and crashes v40 plus (SVN) - After Oct 2019

This is going to sound strange, but ever since 11093, I have been getting MAFs alot. Before 11093 I never had a MAF, afterwards MAF at least twice to three times a day. I used to marathon some serious hours into the game with out running into a MAF but now a days every couple hours I have to remember to take a break or MAF time.

Most likely you reached that point in game, which results in MAFs
 
Hopefully this is the right place and it hasn't been reported before, but it seems that the AI never switches their workforce civics to anything other than "communal" which doesn't seem like the intended behavior. It's rather minor and I probably wouldn't have noticed if not for the fact that it disables corporations, but still. This is in a game with AIs at atomic age, so it's not like they haven't unlocked anything else either, and I remember noticing the same thing in a previous game. This is with svn @ 11103.

I'm also wondering if reports for bugs related to space stuff are welcome, since that part of the mod feels a lot more "in progress" than the rest. There are definitely more moon barbarians around than I'd expect, in any case.
Only 30 civics have flavor (used for AI) - I guess no one cared to add them to rest of civics.

Also no one cared to make sure, that city spawning respects map categories.
 
I'm getting a strange crash, 2 turns after the save. Civ just locks up, does nothing. Here are the save and the log.

Any ideas, please? Thanks!
Try playing without civ modpack - this save works normally, just civs/leaders are automatically replaced.

Sorry don't have a save that I can upload that is near a MAF. The weird thing is if I don't clean up my save game folder every couple sessions it makes things worse. So mostly I was wondering if something was introduced or is my old computer just screwing with me?

It shouldn't matter, that there are saves in save game folder.
So its your computer fault then.

Also there is some sort of memory leak if you play for long time.
 
That is weird thing I would play for 10 to 12 hours with no issue and then one day memory leaks frequently. So I thought I would ask, next MAF I get will upload save as soon as I get it.

Check if you have graphics paging enabled in BUG settings.
Also memsaver in vanilla BTS ini can be enabled to reduce memory usage too (you must have windowed mode to tab out of game then).
 
Will try those settings. Just to clarify Graphics Paging should be enabled right?
 
That's in the mod. Someone just needs to turn it on and test it. Maybe I'll do it after next version is released.
Personally I think it's an improvement if someone other than the player can into space.

Well those barbarians can spawn earth units only - essentially prehistoric settlements near moon/mars hills - barbarian city spawns in space if hill is nearby.

Could add some sort of aliens to the spawnInfo xml.
I can also make it so that certain NPC players spawn cities only on plots with a corresponding map category.

We need to have the alien units in the game to make that possible first. I'm including some units that can easily be used as alien barbarians in the design plan right now.
