Single Player bugs and crashes v40 plus (SVN) - After Oct 2019

Hello. Can you tell me why these units suddenly have so much power? Is it because of the map or something in the game? I have a steam version of svn-mod, but this has not been observed before

Hmm, I'm aware of a size matter strength calculation bug that only happens in rare specific cases, haven't had time to investigate it properly though.
The game does not respond after the end of the turn (this is another game). SVN 11195
I'll check it out.

@Trantor : Make sure you don't have ANY files inside: "\Documents\My Games\Beyond the Sword\assets" (empty folders are ok there)
If this folder exist: "\Documents\My Games\Beyond the Sword\MODS\Caveman2Cosmos"; delete it.

Are you on Size Matters Uncut without being on Size Matters? That will, as the tooltip says, cause a bug like this.

Should trees grow out of water?
What you've never heard of the coastal spruce?

lol

To be fair, I'm not sure there is advanced enough programming in the graphics engine to keep this sort of thing from happening.

Not sure if this is a bug or an annoyance, but in the late game your own units destroy your own improvements with ranged bombardment. It only happens in late game when the units are more powerful. Running latest SVN. If annoyance, is there a way to stop ranged bombardment, it seems weird for Law Enforcement to range bombard outside city limits when they are supposed to be fighting crime.

Not sure if this is a bug or not. Space stations located outside borders cannot be improved. That is, the unit is wasted, but there is no improvement. For some maps, this is critical, because it is impossible to place a city near the northern edge of the map (3+- tiles). Given that culture is very poorly distributed on space tiles. Space exploration becomes impossible, for example, on most @Snofru1 maps.

It seems to me that the construction of the station should create the territory of the created player under it. If you do this through the editor, the territory disappears the next turn.

Are you on the opportunity fire bug option?

Ranged Assault attacks shouldn't damage improvements, just units, but the bombardment called by opportunity fire may still be setup that way.

I can't answer to this. @raxo2222 may be able to.

Wasn't aware of opportunity fire option. Police helicopters are the worst, they really destroy my improvements.

It's under the RevDCM page of the Bug options last I knew and yeah that's the only way I know one gets such bombardment taking place automatically without a choice to do so.

Clearly if this is the culprit, it's needing some work to make it valid again.

That worked, thank you.

Had to disable both range bombardment options, police helicopters just tried to destroy another improvement.

What was the 'other' one?

Range bombardment and opportunity fire.
