In the absence of any possible other course of action, and the failure of European powers to come to Turkey's aid, Sultan Ismet has no option but to accept the treaty forced upon his nation by the aggressors.
Ismet has also abdicated the throne of Turkey and will go into exile in Great Britain.
From Russia
To Mr. Ismet, former Sultan of Turkey,
CCed: United Danube Kingdom, Persia, Whaheydi Caliphate,
Russia appreciates Mr. Ismet's wise decision to recognize the terms of peace signed by the new Turkish Sultan, Tarik Ciller (OOC: he didn’t have a name in the update so I just gave him one), thereby saving lives of Turkish Muslims, lives of Christian Anatolians, the lives of Muslim Arabs throughout its former territories.
Hereafter Russia shall be withdrawing from former Turkish territories west of the Bosphorus strait and passing governance of these territories, in its entirety, to our brave friends in the UDK.
Russia also recognizes the formerly Turkish lands currently occupied by Persia as their sovereign territories to govern as they see fit.
Russia recognizes the territories currently under Whaheydi Caliphate occupation as the sovereign territory of the Whaheydi Caliphate to govern as they see fit.
Penultimately formerly Turkish territories under Russian occupation shall be governed henceforth in conjunction between the local Anatolian population and a specially developed Russia administration, with the dedicated mission of bringing peace, prosperity, and opportunity to the region. Turkish government officials and soldiers will have free opportunity to pass, unarmed, to the Turkish state. Armed turkish soldiers or officials within these territories will be considered in violation of the treaty signed by the wise Mr. Ismet and detained. During this period of transition and restructuring Russia will not be allowing foreign government officials or traders access to these territories. Such embassaries are more than welcome to meet with their Russian counterparts in St. Petersburg.
Finally the
Bosphorus strait will be temporarily closed to both military and civilian naval traffic not belonging to the UDK or Russia while the UDK and Russia develop the proper security and tolling infrastructure to coordinate trade and travel through this channel. In the meantime both the UDK and Russia invite Mediterranean trade to dock at our ports on the Anatolian sea.
Sergei Obruchev,
foreign minister to Her Imperial Majesty, Tsarina Alexandra, of Russia
To Sultan Tarik Ciller,
From Russia
Russia is pleased to see the rise of a stronger, more decisive and pragmatic Sultan take the government reins. May the Sultan Tarik Ciller’s rule be one of peace and prosperity.
Russia will assist the Turkish state in adapting to the new geopolitical solution and is dedicated to assisting our new friends in the highest echelons of Turkish government.
Specifically, during the time of transition, we will not turn away from the chaos and confusion, and are dedicated to assisting the new Sultan in maintaining law and order in Turkey.
Secondly, we wish to see the new Turkish state join the ranks of the Whaheydi Caliphate, Persia, and Delhi as middle-eastern trading partners and friends of Russia, and thereby open its markets and industries to private Russian investment. We hope that by doing so Turkey will join the ranks of the listed middle-eastern Russian friends in experiencing exponential industrial, agricultural, and economic growth and prosperity all while retaining the distinct culture and religion of its people.
Sergei Obruchev,
foreign minister to Her Imperial Majesty, Tsarina Alexandra, of Russia
