SLNES I: Masters of Ethereal

The great plains were always our home and I am not much different from the rest of my kind. It will be here in the center of the greatest plains where I will rise my great citadel of power and from here the word of mother nature will spread to all corners of the land.

(if you didn't get it, center of plains please)

(The Orange on my map, please.)

Ismordar, after creating what would be known as the Burning Tower, started to look around. It was empty, it was surronded by mountians, it had a river. It was perfect. He remembered his orgional world, where Orcs were considered an expendable source of battle experince for Elfs or Men. They were considered "Evil", and thus "Morally Alright" to slaughter on the thousands.

"Not here", he said. "This is the world where Orcs will have a land, no, an empire, for themselves. This will be the world where Men will bow down to us, not the other way. Our crusade for a pernament land begins here. This river will be stained with blood countless times. But this 'River of the Blood' will be our river, and our river only. This will be our testament, our coveneat, of the Orc Imperium, the Inferno Crusade".

(Yes, Ismordar an Orc Supremeist)

I'd like to claim, as my citadel, that leftmost large mountain close to the inland seas

This is my color (as goldish as possible, but CFC can't do gold)

Thomas, you are fairly close to Omega, who made his claim first. You are just a tad over 200km. That is fine, but just making sure you realize it.

The wizened old bearded goblin was focusing intently. Peering from mere inches away he gently tapped the nail into the sole of the shoe, ‘tap, tap, tap’. There, three gentle taps was all it took. The cobbler leaned back and surveyed his handiwork. He was happy with what he had wrought. Like most goblins he took pride in his creation, carefully assembling a product that would last many years with patience and skill.

Leaning back and reaching for his mug of cider, he suddenly felt a chill start at his tail bone and travel the length to his spine. The chill stayed with him, unshakable, and the old goblin stood up quickly peering into the shadows of his workshop. Suddenly he felt a hand on his shoulder, a grip as hard as steel and cold as the high mountain wind. A voice spoke.

“Cobbler no more. You shall be my prophet, my servant. You, gentle servant, shall be my voice.”

The old goblin who had once been a cobber dared not turn around. Instead he nodded. Once. Terrified.

Lan'Elatair is found in the southernmost forest of Ethereal, between the two lakes with a third smaller one near by. The barren peninsula still marks the site of the greatest battle of the Elven Civil War and few elves willing venture there.

Which plains? You should specify.

It was an X-post... but I'll live with it. I want to be in the mountains.

That's Perfect. place me near a river, as well? (my actual location doesn't matter all that much)

Just anywhere? There is no one in the Easternmost mountains yet... how about there?

yes there is. the thuggee are there!

(see post 16)

I prefer a shade of yellow.

Posting a map since I'm bad at describing.

Sorry, I totally meant Westernmost. I'm an idiot. Anyway, Thomas doesn't mind. So Thomas I put you in the Westernmost mts, in between 2 rivers.

That would make him kinda sorta close to my citadel, but that's alright because we are friends.

Claims in the attachment.

Will there be borders to our kingdoms, or just the settlements we control? Like, would the towns/cities/castles/ automatically grant control of a certain amount of countryside to the controller of said town/city/castle? And would this be viewable on the map after updates, sort of like CIVs cultural borders?

EDIT: Also, how will we know how far we can move our units in one turn? I know there is a mounts trait, but I dont think anything in the rules specified how far we could move units at once, or how much the traits affected that.

Yes, there will be light borders colored on the map, much like Civ's cultural borders. They will encompass nearby countryside/landmarks, and villages which will not be marked specifically on the map (which have no effect on the game, but are tiny implied locations).

See "Orders" section of ruleset.
