Stocking the galley up to take down the archer and bag a free worker was inspired. Much better than risking a naval battle one on one, which would have gained nothing. Nice job.
Trying to save veteran catapults, though, hmm. They only had one victory each, that was nothing compared to the experience in them horses. If it was me, I'd have sacrificed all the cats to minimalise every 0.1% damage to the immortals Cats even have half a chance of running away, regardless of health. I regularly throw near-dead cats at cities, because the cumulative collateral damage is irrespective of initial combat results: they die, they still take a chunk off 4 enemies.
Oh well, Stuttgart has a few more turns to grow, that can only mean more cash when we next storm it.
As for waiting to bribe Hatty, check every turn. When CS isn't enough to get her to DOW on Russia, that should be about the right time. Just sweeten up the deal with a map on top.
